Long range ults block caps too easy.

Especially in those hard fought well deserved clutch moments - 1 man left standing after an intense team fight...he's capping...almost caps it - then boom, someone has resurrected and just ults the point and blocks the cap... then ppl are showing up, and the team that won the team fight doesn't get the point...seems wrong.

Perhaps, but if two are left after a fight and they stand right on top of each other for Ez's ult... well... they kinda deserved it.

eh only thing i would argue against is GP's ulti it lasts too long and can almost block an entire cap

Even GP's ult CAN NOT in any way block all points from where you can cap a point, so you can easily go out of it and start cappin again. Global ults are a tactical advantage and they should be.

And if they aren't on top of each other, he must position himself to get both. If you still got whacked by him that way: bad luck, he was in a good position to begin with, or you stood in the right (in your case, wrong) alignment.

Best way to prevent it: 1 starts capping, and 1 starts capping at the complete opposite end. This brings other advantages: if an enemy is getting close to prevent the cap by interrupting, one person can actually intercept that enemy and perhaps delay him for just 1 second, but that might just be enough to get you that cap.

Karthus is the ONLY one who can always interrupt your cap. All the other global ulti's have a restriction upon them. Learn those restrictions.

Example: if there is an enemy AP EZ: take a very good look at that jungle, he WILL prevent that cap temporarily, but don't give him that free 1k damage because you didn't realize it was coming. So if you see it coming, just move out of the way and start again. Staying alive beats dieing.

Outside of EZ, GP and Panth, most of the other champs with long ranged ults like Ashe and and Karthus seem to be played less often. I don't see it as a problem though. Each one of those champs, outside of EZ really, can be countered. EZ is a pain because of his range, poke and high mobility. A good EZ is the hardest champ with a long range ult to counter IMO.

how exactly do u counter a karthus bot?

global/long range ults are easily countered by capping points with more than 1 person. very few people can stop a cap when theres people on both sides if a point. only karthus, gp, nocturn and panth can really do it. maybe tf if he lines up his cards properly.

He's easily out pushed (early) by the more dominant pushers and easily killed, later, by the more dominant assasins.

I like Karthus alot but he is counterable.
