First, let me explain how Nevermore worked for those who aren't familiar with him. He had one ability called Shadowraze. Shadowraze had 3 variations to it: Shadowraze Z, X, and C. Leveling the ability would level up all 3 variations. The way he worked was that each Shadowraze was an instant cast AOE damage explosion that was set at a fixed distance in front of the direction that Nevermore was facing. His Z would be a distance of 200, his X at 450, and his Y at 700. This meant you had to watch which direction you were facing and use the right ability based on the distance of your opponent.

Please riot, add a hero at some point with this mechanic. It took a decent amount of skill to play Nevermore effectively and that is exactly what made him fun. It would make a great AP hero and it would be nice seeing another hero that takes lots of practice, effort, and skill to use correctly.

He was my main. I was a god with nevermore. the closest i can come to is karthus. Lay waste uses the same skills.

Yea, i'd love to see some heroes that are similar to a few DOTA heroes. Personally i wanna see tiny and a few others.

They could do it too.
Q: Shadowraze. Leveling shadowraze increases the damage on Q as well as W and E actives. 100/200/300/375/450 damage. .65 AP ratio. Shadowrazes 200 units in front of Nevermore.

W: Presence of the Dark Lord -
Passive: Enemies tremble in fear at the presence of the Dark Lord, reducing their armor by 10/15/20/25/30.
Active: Shadowrazes 500 units in front of Nevermore. Damage is based off of Q.

E: Necromastery-
Passive: Whenever the Shadow Fiend kills a unit, he stores the unfortunate soul inside of him. For each stored soul he gains 2 bonus damage until his own death releases half of them from bondage. 16/30/46/60/72 damage limit.
Active: Shadowrazes 750 units in front of Nevermore. Damage is based off of Q.

R: Summons evil spirits around you dealing damage to units in the area. Number of spirits is related to the number of souls stored. Lowers movement speed and damage of nearby units. The closer the units are the greater the effect.
Level 1 - 80 damage for each line, 15% reduction, lasts 5 seconds.
Level 2 - 120 damage for each line, 20% reduction, lasts 5 seconds.
Level 3 - 160 damage for each line, 25% reduction, lasts 5 seconds.
Mana Cost: 150/175/200
Cooldown: 120/110/100
Damage type: magical
The amount of damage dealt is related to the number of souls captured with Necromastery.
Requiem of Souls generates damaging lines around Nevermore, 1 per 2 souls stored, for a maximum of 15 lines.
The closer the targeted unit is, the bigger the amount of lines affecting him.
Reduces both movement speed and attack damage of units in a 700 AoE.
This skill breaks invisibility a short time before it's released.
This skill has a 1 second cast time
Area of Effect: 1300/1325/1350

Soul Stealer (Nevermore in HoN) is one of the best heroes in HoN at the moment. He's really good, and slightly gay.

DotA is best left being DotA. if I wanted to play it, I'd load up WC3.

i remember the original build for sf used to be his necromastery passive and stats, and then later get your armor reduc passive

at some point in dota though, myself and others started going bottle + shadowraze on him and you cant go back to the other way of playing
