IsC, Lady Luminesia, Light Sorceress

She had seen horror itself. The newcomer absorbed Nashor, literally, draining it's life force and quickly growing into an abominable size. Seeing the mysterious dark monster absorbing the life force of the planet itself, the sorceress took immediate action at protecting as many lifes as possible behind her light shields. The war was much more exhausting then she though, and those protections took every last ounce of mana that she had, leaving her breathless. From there, she observed, in a relative safety that was too precarious.

"Was it all for naught? This wasn't supposed to happen... We... had other plans."

Almost fainting, she dropped onto all four, attempting to recollect herself. Attempting to get a sight at the events unfolding in front of her demanded a huge effort, but she stoically stood. She was still observing, different individuals attacking the beast's feet, arrows flying, people jumping up and down of the colossus. She took a particular note of the Traveller, who summoned multiple golems to help fend off the Soulreaver. She realised that while the wizard probably wouldn't soil his hands on his own, he had a lot of magical capabilities to rely on. She had a better grasp of his way of doing things, and hoped that she could give him back his book. "Well thatís a silly thing to be thinking of right now".

She then noticed Aniir, who was doing her best as a simple apostle to fight off the monstrosity. Her powers were different, as if they were divine instead of magical. Such powers had perks and disadvantages, and the little light mage knew that she wouldn't last too long with a continuous assault of divine magic.

"Even her is fighting. I can't just standby and do nothing. I have to get up!" She then noticed something peculiar about the arrows that were flying towards the Soulreaver. Maybe it was fatigue clouding her thoughts, but she had an impression of... dťja-vu? "No, stay focus. Collect whatís left of your mental strength, and focus, one last time." Getting up on her feet took all the efforts should could humanly make, and for a split second, she wasn't sure if she could even cast a single spell. "Nonsense! You're stronger then that! do it!" Strangely, she heard that in her head with both her own voice and one of a familiar friend. As if, he was at her side, hoping that she could react too.

Raising her arm, and using the free one to hold it in position, she gathered the last remaining bits of magic in her, even draining the little amount that was left in this barren environment and in her own health. Channeling one last Light Ray, she aimed at the same spot that Aniir shot, before collapsing, trying to hold on at what was left of her life.

"For now... it's up to them... good night..." did she whisper, with an ironic smile.

[[Again, big apologies to everyone for being... somewhat absent. I really wish I could be way more useful, and I made this out of guilt here And not Iím not dead!]]

[[Actually, no-one's underneath it YET. I'm clearing a path for Reich's other character, who posted this:

Keyword would. He's not there yet, so do your damage and then we're going in.]]

Edit: Although there are lots of people around it, if that's a problem.

Soulreaver's True Form

Anger, pain, confusion. Uncountable thoughts, uncountable voices. They all rang through Reich's being. It was as if entire planet's inhabitants were crying out, lost and unsure of what to do. He supposed it kind of made sense. If the lifesource he absorbed became a part of him, and the voice had been doing it far longer, who knows how many worlds had fallen before this one. However, he knew why it was frustrated. Never before had it met this much resistance. Reich began to almost feel sorry for it, before shaking his non-existent head. No. He couldn't become part of it. He couldn't join the masses. He would fight.

The Soulreaver was observing the new opponent emerging from the flesh Golem when it felt a sting on the back of it's neck. Twisting it's head about it tried to view what was happening but couldn't see Msyk pounding at the spot that he ahd damaged earlier. About to strike out at him with one of the rigid appendages, the new enemy which was summoned struck out. The blow was so forceful that the Soulreaver slid backwards slightly and had to block the attack with most of it's appendages.

Preparing for it's own attack, it wasn't even able to move before the gash on the bottom of it's neck widened a little more. Baneson had succeeded in widening it. More black matter spewed out of the wound, disappating as it drifted out and away from the beast. Letting out a roar, it began to turn to find out what was causing that when Kaiden clocked the Soulreaver sharply across the face.

Inside the beast, Reich could feel it searching frantically for something. It was much like a lost child now. It had never achieved this form before, and was in many ways as fragile as a newborn. The darkness shifted about, attempting to learn it's new abilities. Trying to find a way to retaliate against so many foes in an easier fashion. Then satisfaction. It had learned something new.

As Sandviper and Soupcup struck the Soulreaver, it seemed to stop still... just for a moment. Soupcup in the meantime was launched towards it's wounded throat via Sleiphner. That's when the new nightmare began.

The Soulreaver's head was still twisting from the blow that was delivered by Kaiden, when it began to shift. Moving almost like a liquid the head reformed, the jaws of the beast now open and poised with it's many sharp teeth. In between the teeth was Kaiden's right arm he had used to deliver the blow as the teeth clamped downwards in an attempt to grab hold of it's target's arm just as Kaiden unleashed his dragons fire on the creature. Letting out a gurgling cry, the Soulreaver would continue to hold his arm in between it's serrated teeth if it managed to grab ahold of him.

Soupcup met a problem of his own as he was flying through the air. The gash on the Soulreaver's neck was rapidly approaching, his destination was almost certainly absolute. Unfortunantely as he flew through the air nearing the gash in the Soulreavers neck, the wound itself would shift and transform into a second pair of jaws which widened and waited for his arrival. The mouth was much smaller then the main one, and might not kill him outright, but if it managed to catch him inside of it, it's grip would surely begin to crush him slowly. His armor and thick hide would be his best hope for resisting the multiple sharp teeth that were on display.

Near the side of the creature Flamell had met back up with Baneson. His black flames gathering under the Soulreaver and exploding upwards. The massive behemoth would shudder as the flames licked against it, when from the side of it's skin a giant appendage exploded outwards. It headed very rapidly in Flamell's and Baneson's direction, ending in a bone-like scythe that struck downwards at them.

Now it seemed that this new ability the Soulreaver had attained allowed it to quickly adapt to attacks in a gruesome way. This was making it increasingly dangerous to be near the creature now. Even Night and her companions on the beast suddenly had to deal with various small, but deadly none-the-less, appendages that sprouted directly from the creature itself.

If Msyk didn't move soon, he might have to deal with sprouting bits too..

Most of the soldiers and minions were losing morale now, and began to retreat, pulling back. They had no idea where they were running too, but anywhere would be better then their current situation.

Perhaps it would be best while the Albion loaded it's remaining munitions for the others to pull back... if they could.

Night thought there was blackness before the massive dark laser beam of death fired, but it must have been an illusion, for after the beam fired, there was nothing there to be spoken of. Not even ash remained of the man. Night felt only regret. Another casualty. Another failure. Regret turned to solemn resolve. That man may have died, but he would not die in vain. Turning towards the last remaining eye, Night took her clawed hand and savagely stabbed the beast in the eye, cursing the beast to eternal night for however longer it lived.

Zerymanthius, the Source Hunter

He'd dived into the black flames without hesitation. Instead of being incinerated, a very dim glow surrounded Zerymanthius, preserving his life. Quickly he worked on the last part of the spell. It was almost complete. They were almost out of time. The Soulreaver was quickly learning that it had far from normal abilities at it's disposal since it had matured. In all honesty, it was still a newborn learning how to crawl. He didn't want it to learn how to walk, and then run. He would have to depend on whatever plan the others had to stall it. He knew many were falling back. Perhaps because of the fleet in the sky he had noticed. Surely they had some weapon they were prepared to unleash.

Yet he would remain. This was his duty.

(so wait, does that mean that it has new eyes?)

(I hope so, cause that would mean Night would have to re-stab the eyes)

Baron sipped some of the exquisite Tea of Massive Explosions (with a hint of overcompensation) from his ornate blue-gold china teacup. He really had to thank Sleiphner when this battle was over - the tea was truly soothing. Upon finishing his tea, Baron sat his cup down and calmly walked over to the helm of the Albion.

"Jesus?"

"SIR, I HAVE THE WHEEL. IT'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE."

"Thank ye, lad. But I'll take it for a moment, if you don't mind."

"Oki doki loki!"

Baron gripped one hand around the helm, and proceeded to yell into the ship's communicator.

"Arcanus crews Alpha, Beta, and Gamma - prepare to fire on my command. Signal our supporting airships to provide covering broadsides as needed. Hellfire crews - prepare to fire, and standby! We shall give zero ****s and no quarter! ISC ES NUMERO UNO ALWAYS VALIANT NEVER GIVE UP!"

Handing the comm to Helmsman Jesus, Baron laughed manically as he gripped the wheel. The Albion's Arcanus Siege Cannons began to whir, lines forming down the barrels and emitting a faint purple aura.

"And play Tchaikovsky, will you? I want to enjoy this."
