i have a bunch of neato peripheral devices AND programs laying around.

i never use these when i play on the regular server, even tho most of them wouldnt get me banned. (i just find it bad form)

considering this is a PBE, would it be frowned upon to use these third party widgets to actively hunt possible exploits? or do the same rules apply?

Such as intercepting packets?
I'd say not to.

Like that thing that let you get the scrolls that would stun people?

I don't see why not, if the beta testers don't do it, that means the public will have to.
