The House of Du Couteau is known in Noxus as the House of Blades to those on either side of the knife. General Du Couteau not only commited himself to the Noxian army for the six years required, but is to date the only soldier active in his fifties. He has sacrificed much in the name of Noxus including his second daughter, Camilla who was taken from him in the earliest days of the Demacian campaign. It has become an unspoken rule that her name goes unsaid in the General's presence.

His age should not belie his power. Armed with the sabre of the Noxian High Command, Du Couteau is often held as the standard all other soldiers should hope to achieve. Subtle in his motions, his movements on the battlefield are as effortless as the strokes he makes with his sword.

"I'd swear he slept with that sword at his side if I was convinced he slept at all" - Jarvan VI

Passive - Never Outnumbered - Du Couteau gains attack speed for each nearby enemy.

Q - Deft Strike - Du Couteau lunges forward a short distance (800) with his sword. If he hits an enemy champion, he immobilizes them (.5/1/1.5/2/2.5 sec) and gains an Advantage charge (max 3). Higher levels of this spell decrease cooldown and increase the immbolization

W - Press the Advantage - Du Couteau consumes an Advantage charge to increase his movement (10/11/12/13/14/15% per charge) and attack speed (15/16/17/18/19/20%) for a short period. Uses of Press the Advantage stack up to 3 times.

E - Defensive Slash - Du Couteau makes a wide slash in front of himself, pushing himself back slightly, dealing damage (50/100/150/200/250 +.6 attack damage) and slowing any enemy units hit (24/28/32/36/40%) for 1.5 sec. If a champion is hit in this way he gains an Advantage charge (max 3).

R - Battlefield Excellence - Du Couteau begins to move about the battlefield with miraculous speed. Within an area around Du Couteau (1000, 1200, 1400 range) he will instantly teleport to his target before making a melee attack for 5 seconds. If he changes targets he will teleport again. This ability has no limits to the number of times he can teleport, limited only by the number of attacks he can fit into those 5 seconds.

YUS
i like it
Only...the lore almost forbids it. Only because he went 'missing' and Talon is searching for him.
BUT MAYBE THEY FOUND HIM DAMMIT.

Good point. Perhaps something like this then.

After disappearing mysteriously, it was Talon who discovered the whereabouts of the General. He had been captured planning what looked like an assassination on the Crowned Prince. Jarvan IV aided in capturing Du Couteau and it was only League officials stepping in that prevented bloodshed.

Though no solid evidence was ever obtained to prove the General's guilt, Jarvan couldn't pass up on the opportunity to question him. It was for this reason that he was secretly brought into Demacia. Du Couteau had slain many Demacian sons, and his presence in the city would cause unrest. As well if word made it to Noxus that he was being held in Demacia, all out bedlam would have broken loose. After several nights of questions, an exhausted Jarvan left Du Couteau in his cell, defeated by the General's utter determination not to speak. The General just stared, unblinkingly into the Crowned Prince's eyes whenever Jarvan looked directly at him. For three days the General sat upright in his cell, never sleeping. Jarvan finally released Du Couteau due to pressure from the League.

Just a bump if the abilities seem feasible. The general idea of play is rush in with Deft Strike, and then back off. Once three charges of Press the Advantage were acquired, Deft Strike in then press the advantage, and using the additional movement speed get in front of them and use defensive slash to keep them corralled. This will yield more Advantage charges, and you can keep Press the Advantage up. Deft strike on occasion for immobilizes and refilling charge counters. If they flash and Deft is down, use ult to flash to them.

Summoner abilities like Exhaust, Flash and Ghost would be recommended for positioning and defense. As Du Couteau gets really good base attack speed, this would allow for itemization into more AD and even some more defensive. Standard Atmogs builds or pure AD builds with BT would be optimal. I liked what Riot did with Riven, but thought that using the charges as part of a resource system rather than just a minor damage boost allows for a slight shift in the dynamic of play.

Yes! That would be really cool to have him in the League. Or some thing where they reveal some info about him. Or Mordekaiser. we know his origins are unkown, he came from Noxus. We know General Du Couteau went missing. So what if General Du Couteau got a fatal wound, was being hunted down by the Demacians, and encountered something that somehow made him turn into Morde? Kind of like Kassadin, he was transformed into a void creature, or something like that. lol still working on it.

Rather than try to resurrect a concept that may not work, were there elements of this concept that seemed feasible?
