And if his lifesteal + spell vamp = more than 30% your thornmail is rendered useless.

JAx isnt and AD champ.

sword of divine OR randiums is all you need to counter him, and having both shuts him down 100%.

exhaust and sword of divine makes him cry every time. Zero damage and Zero dodge = dead jax.

Simple hard counter: you ban him.

More serious answer (well the above answer was serious): Pack a bunch of exhausts, if he gets out of hand, chain exhaust him. Also, can slow him and kite while mages and ranged nuke him down.

In an SR game it would be Annie, burst casters, etc.

In this mode: Ryze or else stick to draft and ban him. Those are baiscally the choices.

Frozen Heart works against his AD/AS and Abyssal Sceptor works againsts his AP.

There are other items, but i find these 2 to work well. And they dont hinder your regular AP build so badly.

As a tank Randuin's Omen works nicely, so does Frozen Heart, Odyn's Veil or Force of Nature and Merc Threads.

If your tank is an AutoAttacker, then get Sword of the Divine.

Jax really has a hard time against casters (ranged ones at least).

I play both ryze and jax, and what you should do is just back off, cc him and cast.
If he uses the active portion of his ult then just wait til it expires and keep CC'ing and throwing spells at him.

CC and burst is the easiest and most effective since it keeps him from doing damage and generally kills him quickly.

SotD works better on range carries than melee, but assuming you've got a high enough attack speed to compliment it so you get your hits in during the duration itll work.

Can we agree that needing to build Frozen Heart and Abyssal Scepter because Jax is on the other team is a bit excessive?

I find it easier to just ban him. He definitely needs tweaks of some form for this mode, or else burst casters need to be made more viable.

Edit: Guess we can't, we just backdoor downvote without making a response like a baby.
