your example is exactly what i am talking about as far Team play goes. another example is you have 3 areas to the enemies 2; Holding/Defending and maintaining your nexus score lead needs to be given more credit.

i think kda and the stupid point system shouldn't even be considered in Dominion, I know whose being the most useless on my team without having a scoreboard to tell me.

Especially since 90% of the time the scoreboard considers my worst teammates as not the worst. (usually they're 2nd or 3rd from bottom)

Defenders support the team at least as much as the guy that goes around backdooring and should receive their fair share of the credit.

Defending is still a viable strat, you just don't get as much credit as you should (which hopefully riot will fix). One game I was playing d as lux agianst 2v1 almost the whole time. Went 6/0/7 and stopped a ton of caps (especially with the ult) - probably won us the game but I had the lowest score. So viable stratergy, just depends on if you play for the win or for points.

Defenders win games but get spit upon by the ending screen which says they are last place noobs who contributed the least to the team when infact, they not only stopped the enemy from winning they gave a good distraction to allow their allies to get all those points from captures.

Seems like carry vs tank dillemma all over again.

"I play carry cause carry wins games!"
loses game
"gg noobs we had no tank, but tanks don't win games anyways, carrys do, yet still why no tank?"

I have no problem with the guy who captures the most getting the highest score, I just think that because the defender captured the least shouldn't mean he automatically gets the lowest score, which seems to be the case as is now.

Thats a bad idea bc than everyone would just stay and defend the entire time without doing anything else and just rack up points but they do need to add more incentive to it I have saved my team from losing tons of times by defending and I was usually 4th or 3rd in points bc of it.

That would be a pretty fantastic idea. But I wonder if there could be repercussions from that? People worrying too much about their score and just wasting time sitting at the CP next to their base.
