Explanation: The most unintuitive aspect of competitive LoL-ing is calling MIAs. A busy summoner cannot monitor the entire map. Thus, a summoner is too-often dependent of having teammates who will call MIAs each and every time that an enemy champion is not seen for a short amount of time. Furthermore, these teammates must also call it each and every time that the enemy resurface, or the phantom MIA danger will also be hurtful. Many summoners have doubts whether an enemy is truly gone, and would rather facecheck a bush than call wrong a "mia" or a "re" and be blamed for it. All things considered, this is a bothersome business. It drives everybody to go banana milkshake.

Quick solution: The TAB window. People use it to keep tab ( get it? ) of how the game is proceeding. Here's what you do. You put a small counter of 1 to 10 under the icon of enemies when they are grayed-out. You put small [ MIA ] after 10 seconds. When people get ganked, you tell your computer monitor "FOOLS, PRESS TAB MOAR" in a voice imitation of Mordekaiser. That will be all. People will not be driven to go banana milkshake anymore.

Yes, because nothing would be better than being able to gank noobs while they're holding down tab, blocking 3/4 of the viewable screen, just to check for MIAs when there's a minimap and scoreboard that already does the same freakin thing.

Doesn't the little circle with the character face go dim if the Champion cannot be seen?

Here is a better option: Macros
Not hard to program, World of Warcraft can, so why can't Riot? could make it so with a press of the 1 on the numpad, it would call mia, a press of the 2 could call back, a press of the 3 could say recalling, and so on so forth for w/e else there is to macro

People already spam-check their tab window because it is the most efficient way to see how the game is progressing. One doesn't have to watch a lot of streams to realise that. I hardly think that buffing the tab window with a few timers would make it so much more deadly that it starts killing people left and right.

Yes sir. Or for that matter, someone can just look at the minimap with the corner of his eyes and see for himself who is and is not in his lane. That is not the problem that I wanted to explain. The problem is that checking the minimap, or even the whole map, will not tell you for how long someone has been missing. That is the little information that you need to decide whether you are in danger. People do not have this little information because there are no little timers in the tab window. As ridiculous as it is, players have to constantly spam this little information on the chat. It is easy to fix. Why not do so?
