And the point of playing Soraka now is...????

Her heal was on a long CD anyway. If maxing out CDR it would be 6 seconds and a single target. Now it's even longer, and ****tier. I don't think a 5 second armor buff is really gonna matter much.

The decrease in mana cost doesn't matter. The AP ratio nerf kills this skill. Dropping this ratio kills AP Soraka more so than even the Astral Blessing nerf. Her ultimate can't stun a whole team, it can't bring your carry back to life, but it can counter AoE teams and champions like Karthus who press R lategame to rip half the HP off your whole team.

This ultimate nerf is terrible.


The Sona changes are f*cking terrible too. It takes her entire mana pool to outheal a single potion at level 1 Aria. Now she can't even do that. Why the hell are they even keeping the heal on that skill?

Thats just Early game, late game isa 45 armor more buff, thats another free chain vest to her heal.

while healing does need a nerf (and i dont know how to fix it myself)

I believe reducing AP ratios only supports the "no cs, no items" support gameplay that most of Riot said they have a problem with.

It's really counter-intuitive to me, but I'll wait until I can actually test the changes.

I think this was very much needed. I play support. I play soraka. Your lane never runs out of mana when you have soraka.
