I have seen some really good trundles out there....and some not so great ones. Any of the really good trundles players out there have some good advice for someone looking to jungle with trundle?

I sometimes play trundle. Remember that he is an offtank, and that you can barely specialise into damage (still, you can, but you're not Tryn).

I start with blue, and I dont need particular leash nor runes to get him. I just attack, pop a pot, and pop Q, and he ends up dying (with smite of course). Then I go for all other creeps except Red buff. Then I start ganking or laning, just helping my lanes. If it fails, I go for their jungle, or continue in mine. I go for Q-W-Q-E-Q-R. Like that I have better jungling after my blue level 2 with W and I can gank level 4 with E. Then I max Q and E for better ganking.

Timing your Qs is very important.
Build the Mercury Treads (or whatever that item's name is) for tenacity as it stacks with your zone's cc reduction.
After having built your Wrigle, you can continue ganking or go for dragon (with the help of a bot teammate if you require it). dont be scared to use your ulti during ganks since it has a pretty low cd (you can even use it vs dragon).
Then go straight to frozen mallet. Some small teamfights shouldve started, and this is the time where you're gonna shine. You're tough, you hit hard, you reduce CCs, you slow opponents (hits and E).

End-game focus on ulting the tank, and go hit the cary with your Q. Trap or disperse the squishies with your E and yeah that's pretty much it. I personnaly build defensive items but you can go for bloodthirster or black cleaver if your team needs more damage.

Thanks very much...that definitely helps. Anyone else know good trundles starts? Maybe a good build with him too?

I have found Wriggles, Merc Treads, Frozen Mallet, Chain Vest, Negatron Cloak to be a great way to enter mid/late game. You can really become quite unstoppable. From there I normally get a Black Cleaver or Bloodthirster and turn the Vest/Cloak into whatever seems most useful (I like Frozen Heart and FoN personally).

One thing that can be tricky to stumble upon: Once the small team fights start, you almost never need go back. Try to stay on top of blue buffs, and just go kill some minions/creeps when you need to heal.

Smiting a minion can save your life in a close fight!

I always start with a Vamp Scepter. Kill the big wolf and then have someone leash blue (they just have to tap it, though if they do any real damage to it, you can be in an amazing position).

I like to go hog and trinity after wriggels. After that defensive and mabye if dmg is needed badly maybe a ghostblade.
He needs a lot practice with his skills.

my jungle build was
Wriggles
boots / to merc treds AFTER phage, imo
Phage /mallet
black cleaver (I either finished mallet or skipped to black cleaver then go back and finish mallet based on how I'm doing.)
atmas
BV

you can sell wriggles for starks if the game is still going on. This build makes you Tanky "enough" + Ulti on enemy tank just gives you so much survivability. BC/atmas/mallet lets you beat the **** outta your target and stay on him. Ulti on enemy tank, then tear the **** outta the AD carry. With contaminate down, ulti heals, vamp heals, and dmg, you will be unstoppable. Or if there is a strong AD heavy carry (xin etc) hit him with everything and blow him up.

Lots of these guys suggesting mallet. You'll find there is another Trundle school of thought out there that mallet is far too expensive for what it does. Triforce has a kinder builtup and buffs everything that trundle does. Mallet only enables him to be a tough snarebot. (They complain that the minor AP is a waste... but hell, its only an amp tome)
