i think veig will actually be better at dominion the SR, the control point situation will make hitting his aoe easier

and nasus is just better at 1v1 or 2v2 combat then he is in 5v5 fights

Sion can be effective by just going AP. DPS sion however will probably never seen end game in dominion

Well for one thing you're going to have to stand near the spire thing to capture it. That's perfect time for Veigar to lay down an E and if they try to run they get stunned.

It won't be circumvented. They are trying to do something which is patently impossible: Trying to balance two completely different games with the same set of champions.Some champions will be good at SR, and some at Dominion. Take Heimerdinger as an example. Outside of bot matches where the bots will charge his turret nest, he's pretty lackluster on SR. On Dominion, he'll obviously be a beast on defense.

What I'm really worried about is that it will become like TT and there will only be on class of champion that is really good there. TT isn't fun because it's nothing but 3 tanky DPS vs. 3 tanky DPS. There's no room to pick another champion class, because no one but a tanky DPS can do as much for your team on TT. Since there are both offensive and defensive components of this map, as well as increased gold gain, I can see carries, supports, and anyone with a good AOE being pretty good at offense, defense, or both. Nukers are probably going to be pretty bad, since increased gold means that everyone can buy defense items to survive your burst damage. It seems from the videos like it'll be be more about 1v1 and 2v2 fights, and less about 5v5 brawls, so champs based on teamfights (Amumu) will probably be left lacking, where champs that do well in 1v1 situations (Warwick) will get a big boost.

OK to shed some light on Dominion, You start out with 1 capture point, the other ones are Neutral. When you capture a point creeps will start spawning from that point pushing to the other Capture objective, so you can still farm like a boss... Just alot more fights consisting of 2v2, 3v3, and 1v1 action. Because after all. It is Domination.

Dominion's balance is individual from the melee style maps.

Hm, that shed some light about how the game will be, and after these posts, Yi seems to be viable again.

And farming possibilities look real boosted
