Need tips on countering Heimer

Alright, so this happened to me several times. Heimer basically makes turrets in a bush near my tower, and he hides in there while a tank (usually cho or shen, and sometimes Jax is there) is there as well. Me and a teamate guards the Tower. Heimer pops out, and does the grenade skill (which has an OP range of 1000) at our tower, damaging it by a LOT (depending how much ap he's stacked already, Ive seen Heimers 2-5 hko a tower). Afterwards, he comes back into the bush. This is VERY annoying. Usually, people have a tendency to tower hug if the enemy pushed that far, but in this case, heimer can still damage the tower from a safe distance. If we try to get close to the bush, cho would silence + stun (or shen would taunt), and turrets owns us. If you say get 3 people to jump in, its still a hard battle because of the turrets. 4 people is ******ed because then the other lanes will be open (or the enemy will come to that lane as well).
Heimer can push towers so easily this way.

Other situations: 4 people pushing top, you guard with 3-4 people as well (again people have tendency to tower hug. Neither sides allows a chance to initiate, Heimer shoots at 1000 range at the turret, while blinding the carries that are usually near the tower, and runs back. Rinse and repeat. AP scaling on his skill is 0.7, so it will hurt BAD on champs with low hp/mr.

So what can you do against a well defended Heimer that has a skill that can push towers with a range of 1000 which ignores on-hit stuff and explodes exactly where u tell it to explode? Plus it's AOE is ridiculous.

Get an aoe hero like morgana or nasus to kill the turrets. They increase in attack damage/armor but not health or magic resist

Yeah we had a morgana sometimes, but the turrets arent always all together. For instance, he can place 1 up front in the bush, one behind in the bush, and one last one behind out side of the bush. This gives Heimer a chance to flash out and run, and if u decide to chase, hes got another turret in the back for more range.

Also, if they realized that the turrets get destroyed, go back to the other situation. 3-4 people pushing top, and creates a stall while heimer attacks tower. How would you stop that?

Don't give him the chance to set up a turret nest so near your tower. Prioritize killing the turrets as soon as he places them. Two heroes focusing fire on a turret bring it down pretty quickly.

Heimer turrets being planted are no where near as effective as they use to be. Just burn them as they pop down. She he build them up AoE easilly rips them as they no longer have the health they use to with upgrade so they are a lot more fragile.

kill heimer when he pops out. it's pretty simple. you're letting him come way out of safety to throw grenades. he's a squishy caster, if he hops out to chuck a nade, stun him and burn him down. throwing any number of abilities into the bush also will eventually kill him

We can handle him by himself, its when hes with 2 other guys like shen/cho + Jax when its hard. And theyre not in the bush all the time. Jax himself is a threat. Plus, the turrets are secondary. its the fact that he hides in a bush, pops out when Jax/shen creates a feint initiation to attack (so we focus on Jax for that second Heimer pops out). But I guess your right, Aoeing the bush will force him to get out, its just that with Jax and shen around, its hard to do it safely. Also, what if hes carrying a banshee? It happened... Stun fails, he shoots, flashes back, we shen taunts and jax pounds away, Heimer gets away, jax kills 1, heimer gets Mejais stack, heimer gets stronder nades. Its hard, and I have a feeling that sometimes the other team premade for this setup. And usually, my teamates just tower hug (i mean who wouldnt when they see Jax/Shen in front of them?), and not realize Heimer is taking down the tower. PLUS, not to mention heimer's skill BLINDS you, synergizing with Jax so very well...

Ignore him and push another lane. Heimerdinger is one of the worst champions in the game if you fight him away from his turrets, so all you have to do is avoid playing a siege game with him.

Granted, that's easier said than done, but in general, if you avoid turret nests, it's like fighting against a four-man team.

-Push another lane.

-If he's putting all turrets together, then either let that tower down and prevent him from setting the turret nest again further along the line.

-If he's putting them apart, then kill them one by one, one turret isn't that terrifying(and if you call for a gank, there's less turrets to defend him at each location)

-If there's 3 people in his lane, then get the 3rd person on your side to help too, or play defensively and harass him when he comes out to throw grenade(he has to move out of the bush where his turrets are to throw that grenade).

-If they're putting Heimer, a tank, and their carry(Jax) in the same lane, then they'll all have level disadvantage later on, just avoid dying and do you best to persevere, eventually your allies should be strong enough to kill them.
