: I find this skill to not be worth taking during the early and middle stages of the game. Jax just can't sustain the mana to use this skill as often as you'd like.

Leap Strike (Active)
Jax leaps to attack to an enemy dealing additional damage.
AoWHun7312: A very important spell to have. This makes initiating that much easier, as well as allowing you to take minion blows to proc Counter Strike.

Counter Strike (Active)
Permanently increases Jax's dodge chance. After dodging an attack Counter Strike will become activatable, stunning and dealing damage to surrounding enemies.

I saw your mastery recommendation and couldn't get it to work. How can you get a point in Havoc with only 20 points in the Offense tree?

Also, you shouldn't use a table of contents for such a small guide, it just takes up useful space.

EDIT: Also, what do you think of getting Nashor's Tooth on Jax? I've been messing around a bit with a build that specs heavily in cooldown (Celerity glyphs and quints, 8/0/22 (for sorcery) or 0/9/21 (for dodge) mastery) but haven't had too much success. Nashor's Tooth is pretty useful, though, with the cooldown lowering and the extra attack speed.

I just noticed that. Fixing it now.

EDIT: Not sure about Nashor's Tooth. I'll have to try it-- pretty sure there's a cap on cooldown though.

Assuming you get 2% dodge from masteries, 11% dodge from runes and the speed boost from dodging. Tower diving will not work as easy as before, and it also depends on your opponent. You absoluetly cannot tower dive certain tanks or heroes.

For items a frozen mallet and a banshees veil is a must, before getting any other luxury items like nashor's tooth. Unless you get early game from owning the other team hard.

Getting a health regeneration item instead of health potions & cloth armor puts you back around 375 gold, as well as slowing down your initial build. The cloth armor also lets you try to gank with leap & counter attack at level 3.
