Hello,

Im having horrible FPS drops while in game. It usually lasts about 5-10 minutes my FPS shoots from 90 to 10 and below. This has never happened before, I have over 1k games under my belt. I've reinstalled my video drivers, tried other games like L4D2 and Fear2. No problem. I've also messed with different FPS setting and video setting in LoL still no help. The only way to fix it is if I leave the game and restart the client. Although that only lasts for about 10 min and then im getting spikes again.

Please help! ty

-Try right clicking the LoL shortcut and running it under Vista or XP compatibility

Its likely a heating problem. Try setting your framecap to 25 or 30 in the video options and see if it still occurs.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I was able to fix the problem by trying number of the following steps not sure which one did the trick but I figure i'll list them in case it helps anyone else.

1) Updated Win 7
2) Re-Installed my video drivers
3) Re-Installed League of Legends
4) Used Ntune to boost system performance.

Now the game runs great on all the high settings just like it used to.
