AD sion works but AP sion has more survivability and burst

AD sion:

STUN ---> walk to target ---> hit twice ---> chase to tower ----> back off

AP sion:

STUN ---> walk to target ---> W for massive burst ----> wait for CDs

AD Sion is a really tough carry, really tough(Not tough to play, tough as in beef and power). It's really scary in all honesty...

Untill you get to 20-30. AD sion is really tough, Get a phantom dancer first and you will see how high his dps goes, plus his ult keeps him in the lane all day.

AD Sion is a monster if it can get farmed, but doesn't have a good way to keep on his target.

He's far too easy to kite, and all he has is that one stun to try and get the kill. Unfortunately, you'll only be able to get like 2-3 hits in before it wears off and then they can just run away and there's nothing you can do about it. Frozen mallet helps but it's not a be-all end-all solution.

This. In theory he's a monster, insane dps during ult and almost unkillable through obscene lifeleech, but it only works if the squishies for some reason decide to tank your autohits.

Both are flawed. AD requires enormous amounts of farming due to having poor attack speed, no slow mechanism, no longrange gap closer. Hence he winds up needing Bilgewater Cutlass or Frozen Mallet, etc to chase. His skills aren't very helpful for farming either, as his shield will be pretty underpowered due to lack of AP.

AP build is very strong during laning and farms like a boos midgame. However, with only 2 actual skills to use, it poops out quickly endgame.

AD Sion is just as powerful as AP Sion.

The problem is, as stated already, the farm. However, AD Sion is a VERY strong lategame carry. His farm is pretty much a free warmogs. On top of that, his ult heals your team incredible amounts that will make them outlast the entire enemy team.

If you farm up enough, and drag the game on long enough, AD Sion is a guaranteed win. Even more so than Veigar and Nasus' farmed abilities.
