Hiemer's ammo system with turents? why?

i just played a practice game with hiemerdinger but i dont understand why they added this thing to his turents... "every 20 seconds heimerdinger is ready to build another turrent" so you cant just place em down they have to be ready.... can someone explain what the goal was in doing this?

There is no "n" in turret.

So that you can place 2 turrets in teamfights...just how teemo can put down up to 3 mushrooms...

Remember before when you were playing Heimer and if someone tried ganking you, your only option was to run? Yeah, well now you can quickly place 2 down at your feet and stand a chance 1v1. He'll actually be noticed in teamfights now too. Place 2, ult to slow, grenade the enemy team and hit all 5 with rockets.

Solid buff imo.

seems like a long time to stock up on your turrets. 20seconds is quite a while.

When they said they were implementing the ammo for his turrets I was under the assumption it was going to allow us to put as many turrets down as we wanted (i.e. teemo's mushrooms). The patch came and completely bashed that thought. I think the idea is to weaken his early game presence (which is a bad idea imho) but make him more viable later in the game/team fights with the cooldown of his turrets being only one second now.

It makes him a little weaker in defending pushes, though. Overall, he can't replace turrets as fast as before.

get cdr you wont have to worry about the full 20 seconds to wait for turrets to be ready.
