@Riot: Why does Yasuo's wall negate projectiles instead of slowing them?

It's interesting how creating one champion requires updates to other champion's abilities.

Might be a long cooldown, and it only blocks in one direction. Doesnt really make him a super hard counter imo.

Yasuo does stuff in animation no other champion has done before. He's using brand new tech. This is why he is complicated.

Yeah, but lacking those details, we can't help but assume the worst.

Now I'm even more excited. I can't imagine what he requires (aside from destroying missiles)

Griftrix, I don't know if you were on the team for this one. But I don't get this.

W: Wind Wall
Passive: Dashing replenishes Yasuo's Flow faster.
Active: Yasuo creates a wall of wind that slowly drifts forward for a few seconds. The wall blocks all enemy projectiles.

Doesn't the passive seem tacked on and completely unconnected to the ability? shouldn't this be placed elsewhere? Either in the dash ability or in his Champion passive?

I can explain that. It's intended to buff his lategame while not being a choice for early game shielding. You won't be maxing W first (at least I'm assuming) and not tieing it to E means he can't get damage and sustain at the same time. It's like Master Yi. You CAN max W second, but more often then not you max out your AA steriod.

We mustn't forget that Riot is four ****ing years old. At this age, Blizzard was designing Warcraft II. A game that's older than some of the people playing this one.

Blizz is now 20 years running. Even so, when they launched WoW there were tons of problems. Anyone who played Vanilla~BC WoW remembers what a travesty of programming quagmires it was.

Blizzard had to quit shipping the game to meet consumer demand, because their servers just couldn't handle the stress. This kept on four--wouldn't you know it--four years, until they finally got their **** together in Wrath of the Lich King. They invested everything they had into expanding their servers, and making their platform expandable.

I was there since the beginning. I played Warcraft II--(hell I played Warcraft: Orcs and Humans.) I personally followed Blizz all this time, since Aoen of Strife was renamed to Defene of the Ancients. Through the laggy times, and the rolling restarts.

And I'm telling all y'all whiners right now--you are ****ing spoiled. Online games used to go down for 12~24 hours every week! The infrastructure that Riot Games has is a god damned miracle considering their age. And you just don't know, because you're too young to remember what it's REALLY like when a company doesn't have their **** together.

Give the bros at Riot Games some credit.
