@Riot: Why does Yasuo's wall negate projectiles instead of slowing them?

A projectile-slow (ala Time Warp in Diablo 3) sounds a lot more reasonable and a lot less of a hard-counter to Champions like Ashe.

It could be an engine limitation to slow them, rather then stop, or it could just be that in testing, that wasnt such a great idea

I was only using Ashe as a generalized example. He'd also negate lots of mages (Veigar, Ahri, Brand, etc.)

Its good to see some champions needing skill to do their sh**. 90%+ of the wind walls will be purely fail and laughable.

Hello.

First of all, it was an engine limitation to destroy them, but we fixed the engine. I cannot speak fully to the design choice to destroy missiles instead of slow them, but any targeted missile (like auto attacks) would really be unaffected by slows. Only line missiles that you could dodge would be affected by slows. Just something to consider about your suggestion.

He can completely negate about half the abilities in the game, I'd say he hard counters a lot more than just ADCs.
