Why is it that I had 60-70 fps playing on the bootcamped windows, but only about 30 fps when I play the mac client? I am playing on a 2010 macbook pro. Any help would be great.

Disable shadows, they always cause performance problems in mac games. From there, just slowly dial down quality settings until its up to your standards.

They have optimized yet is my guessing. Took guild wars 2 sometime to fix it too.

Set the FPS to High Framerate. This helped me immediately. Went from bogging up and down around 60-20 fps to 60 fps all the time.

maybe you have vsynch on in mac and not in windows...
btw I can use everything at very high (inc shadows) and get higher fps and better quality than on windows (in bootcamp) I always run benchmark for frame rate

Just tried that, turned everything on medium and changed fps to benchmark, and I'm getting 80 fps with the 512mb gt330m. Earlier I was averaging 50 fps, fully low settings and 60 fps cap. Vsync off of course
