At first, I'm just came to America 1 year,and my English is not so good. so...forgive my grammar please.

OK, return to the subject, let's see what did riot do.

Reduce Q's bleed addition to 1.0 form 1.2

Reduce R's basic damage to 220 form 260,and reduce addition to 0.75 form 0.9

Fix E's bug,

Then, let's do a simple computing:

Talon's basic ad ≈ 105 at lv18. Each of Talon's other skill basic damage is (Q)150 at lv5 and (W)130*2 at lv5

So, if Talon has 100 bonus AD, how much diffrence damage does he can deal between "before the patch" and "after the patch" at lv 18?

Before the patch:

Q = 150+100*0.3+100 bonus AD+105 basic AD=385

W = (130+100*0.6)*2=380

R = (260+100*0.9)*2=700

TOTAL DAMAGE = 385+380+700=1465

After the pathch

Q = (150+100*0.3+100+105)*115%≈443
W = [(130+100*0.6)*115%]*2≈438
R = [(220+100*0.75)*115%]*2≈678

TOTAL DAMAGE = 443+438+678= 1559

SO, I think guys already had answers right? This patch reduced Talon's AOE damage, but increased Talon's damage to a monomer unit.

SUMMARY: THIS PATCH MAKED TALON EASIER TO ASSASSINATE THE ENEMY'S AD CARRY AND EASIER TO COUNTER-KILL YOUR ENEMY CHAMPION

Assuming that his E bugged every time this would be correct. I never played him that much so I can't say one way or the other. I doubt his E would bug every time though. Else that would have been it's own hotfix.

His E never applied bonus damage. It appeared in the damage numbers but it never affected HP, which is why no one found out about it until a dev decided to try it out on his own on a whim.

Hey you're numbers are a bit off. Corrected as below.

For ease of calculations sake, let's assume straight 100 AD base damage.

Before the patch:
Q = 150+100*0.3+90+100*1.2+100=490
W = (130+100*0.6)*2=380
R = (260+100*0.9)*2=700

TOTAL DAMAGE = 1570

After the patch, without E / with lvl 5 E / with lvl 1 E:
Q = 150+100*0.3+50+100+100= 430 / 494 / 443
W = (130+100*0.6)*2= 380 / 437 / 391
R = (220+100*0.75)*2= 590 / 678 / 608

TOTAL DAMAGE = 1408 / 1609 / 1442

With lvl 5 E, damage increased by 2.43%
With lvl 1 E, damage decreased by 8.88%
Without E, damage decreased by 11.5%

Reality:
Talon's E is the last skill he levels up, so for the first 14 levels of gameplay, he'll be working with a 3% damage amp, i.e. a 8.88% damage decrease
Talon's E has a 10-18 second cooldown and only lasts for 3 seconds, meaning his E doesn't matter 70-85% of the time.
Talon's E is his primary 'catch' skill where it is often a good idea NOT to use it right away

THIS IS A HARD NERF TO TALON.

nerfed: bleed damage and aoe damage.
buffed: single-target late game damage but just a LITTLE (im talking about maybe 5%)

I said this in an Eve thread as well, assassins by riots classification are meant to be single target killers. they aren't meant to deal massive AoE damage to the entire enemy team. Leave that to the AP carries.

You raise up a very good point, and i wholly agree. This is true, making assassins more single target oriented should make mages more popular.

Exactly. Its a big nerf. You need to extrapolate how much damage he can now do over the course of the entire game vs before. Its like a car's Horsepower chart. His damage chart was much higher and adding up the difference in damage output between the before and after curve will show that cumulitevly he will be loosing nearly 16-18% effectiveness.

If they wanted him to be more of a single target assassin they would need to lower the CD on his e so that it actually matters because as mentioned, that's the skill a player levels last, granted that may change now.
