In no way shape or form did I ever berate the good things that the government has done and has given us. BUT what you fail to realize, is what you said has no bearing whatsoever in this topic. ALL of those things were created before you and I and were even born, half of those things aren't even government related/supplied and all of them have nothing to do with our country's politics, or what I said, or this topic.I don't have a problem at all with paying taxes and paying the government its dues. What I have a problem with, is when they start hurting small business owners like myself, and when I'm paying more than I should for problems created by others and also, rude, ignorant pricks like yourself. And don't tell me I didn't earn things by myself. I'm the one who went and performed when receiving my education I'm the one who does my daily job duties in which I'm paid for. I've almost been killed 4 times by other idiots on our "safe motor ways" and ontop of it, you know nothing of who I am, where I came from, or what I went through growing up. So next time you feel like spewing a load poo from your mouth, think about what your saying. You are worse than a kid...So save the personal insults and flaming tantrum, especially on top of the fact I haven't even spoken to you before, and didn't insult anyone at all or flame in any way. Have a nice day. Btw, try to grow up at some point, you may find it useful down the road. <3
Congratulations on making such a long post while saying absolutely nothing of substance. Not throwing a tantrum? Lol, owned.

Dunno about anyone else, I'm downvoting you because you're positing socialism as a quantity opposed to democracy, when again, they have nothing to do with one another.

You can have a full-on communist democracy or an free-market capitalist autocracy, because one is what the government does, and the other is how it's determined who's in charge. And if you think a socialist state can't also be democratic, most of Scandinavia would like a word with you.

It's a lovely soapbox you've gotten up on, but you have pretty soundly demonstrated that you have no idea what you're talking about. And, as I originally said and you have overwhelmingly confirmed, your mother's a fatass.

There were roads before there were governments, you know, and there's no reason to suggest that there wouldn't be roads afterwards. If I wasn't driving on public roads I'd be driving as happy on private ones.

I know you were being sarcastic, but I'm down with cutting the military, healthcare, and education. The government pretty much just throws money at them instead of conducting any sort of intelligent policy. I'd really prefer it if the feds took their hands off highways, healthcare, and education, but that won't happen in our political climate, so I'd settle for cuts.

No reason to suggest? Do you think things through? What kind of private roads and to where? There wouldn't even be 2 lane asphalt roads to anywhere if they were all private. There are TONS of private roads still in america, know where they go? From where the guy who puts them in wants, to where he wants it to end. Dirt roads of 1.5 lanes, where one guy has to stop so another guy can pass. Try building a road for 50,000+lbs. of semi-truck without public funds to drive over and over, delivering, o, everything we consume, and see how long it lasts without tax money for upkeep (check out the russian highways for a good example of an underfunded highway system).

But sure, let's privatize everything and see how far that puts america back in time. We'll all race for the bottom, letting say a bad road go just another month of being unusable or closed so a private company can pay last month's bills or squeeze another penny out of their maintence division. Have you ever lived in a place where a service like garbage is state run, and then another place where it's private? Drastically different setup, much higher costs and total lack of commitment to citizens/customers by private companies.

Try police state autocracy, that is what it is becoming. Wasn't the fancy word for that a Dystopia?

Freedom of speech is ignored, those who speak out are either detained, or discredited, usually both (Bradley Manning).

When a government makes the murder of it's citizens legal, the government has gone beyond what it is meant to do.
