Giving him a damage increase and cooldown increase (to flat 10s) on R will solve it....

There should just be a ban list for broken champions in blind pick.
If they don't want to fix these issues, at least make it to where people can't abuse them.

Random thought, does exhaust lessen the distance traveled by blink abilities? akin to dashes? If not, why not? Sure, it isn't a *fix* to kass but at the very least it will be a way to stop them from jumping any wall whenever they mess up. I have no idea how the internal mechanics of the game work or if this is even possible, but I figure this would be a good solution to our kass problem w/o gimping him in other modes.

Not a bad idea, but it doesn't fix the problem for when you don't have exhaust up. Of course using intelligent counter-play is nice, so it might not be so bad.

IMO, a solution is simple: offer more silences. League only has about half a dozen characters that have meaningful duration silences anyway, and most of them are mages/supports of some kind.

One of the reasons Kass is so annoying is his silence. Adding more long term CC will just make the game more frustrating for everyone... Especially ability based champions, less for people with strong auto-attacks.

Ask yourself, how many really annoying ability based champions are there in the game? Answer: Lots (Ahri, Akali, Cass, Skarner, Ryze, Riven, Kat, Kass, and thats just a quick skim of the champ roster). And you and I both know that Kass' silence is the icing on the cake; it's the strong base burst, the slow in combo with the silence, and the roflblink that breaks Kass. He'd be fine with a heavily nerfed ult.

Accessible silence mechanics would add a lot to counterplay options for something like a dozen currently OP tier champs. And Soraka, LeBlanc, Malz, and Cho are not universally solid enough picks to be worth including regularly for this purpose.

Silence is not counterplay, it's a big big hammer that stops the enemy from doing what's fun with their champion. You're not adding much counbterplay by adding more CC to the game, the counterplay with CC exists more during the laning of SR, where you now have a window till the next time the ability is back up.

Kass' brokeness is in his ult, but his silence is a large part of why he is so annoying to play against. Silnce doesn't really make the OPs less OPs, CC affects everyone who is not AA reliant the same, it doesn't affect the OP champs much harder than other champs - even bruisers who love using abilities still have much more powerful AAs to fall back on than AP carries.

Your point is, I don't even get your point. Silence is not going to help solve Kass, it;s a hammer that hits everything indiscriminantly, and is not especially helpful to our fun from the game.

This will also hurt ez for example, which even if he's on the strong side of the roster, he's not as viable as other champs. Sounds like a pretty good approach anyway though.

IMHO the problem here is that the EXACT same champions are in dominion AND sr. At least for me, balancing a roster of 100 heroes for two completely different games sounds like a huge dream. It's already damn hard balancing them for 1. This wouldn't be THAT bad.... if we could BAN THE F*** OUT OF KASS.

Maybe they could implement some differences (for example, more cd on kassadin's blink when he plays dominion), but the whole idea of dominion should be reworked if this happens. This will also bring other problems such as people QQing and demanding more and more dominion champion versions (teemo), and maybe as the metagame changes some champions (maybe teemo, definitely not kassadin) won't be a huge deal and they might have to revert those dominion only changes. Also, if they do this for dominion, people will start asking to do the same thing for 3v3... which will bring riot problems.

Dominion is facing a dead end now. As everyone suggested maybe they could or should disable kassadin on dominion which is a much easier approach than tweaking some "dominion versions" of some ultra-broken champions. If not, you can enable ranked/draft where kass will be banned every darn game and therefore it won't matter.
