Title.

In case you don't know, this item grants true sight for several seconds on any target upon which you land a spell.

It's pretty stupid for champions like Rengar, Kha'Zix, Talon, and Wukong to be completely stomped on by an AP that just AoE's everyone. I'm ok with it giving vision of an area maybe, but spammable true sight that NEVER GOES AWAY on this map is TOO STRONG.

Note: This is much worse than Oracle's Extract or Oracle's Elixir. The effect does not fade on death or over time. Basically if you're an AP caster and you can hit someone once, you AND YOUR TEAM will have true sight on them for the REST OF THE TEAMFIGHT. This unnecessarily hard-counters stealth champions. There is no counter-play at all when your enemy gets this item if you're playing a stealth champion.

Now if you hate Rengar or some stealther champion and think they're too strong, fine... but this thread is not for you. You don't make balance changes by creating a single uncounterable effect; it's not interesting, it's not good for the game, and it's not fun. Downvoters GTFO.

Reds, please change this. This item is becoming fotm and it's ridiculous.

It doesn't mark which Wukong is the real one if you hit him and his clone, which can still be annoying in the middle of a fight. Wukong is obnoxiously strong in 3v3s with his ultimate as well, so I wouldn't really chalk it up to a big drawback on him.

You're over-extension range gets smaller when your escape mechanism relies on stealth, at least that much is true. But Rengar is pretty cheese mode already, Kha'Xix has a massive leap on top of his stealth, Wukong can make up for his shortcomings in team fights, Talon has never been that great, Akali needs something to fill the void of pink wards, Vayne's stealth only lasts 1 second (and she's not fantastic early on. At all), Evelyn can't even stealth once she gets pegged by it, hitting Teemo with it is more funny than anything else, and Twitch isn't particularly strong in 3s, etc.

Hextech Sweeper is really better at countering things ducking into brush to avoid abilities than it is countering stealth champions in the first place, which I don't see as a problem at all. And it's not like Oracle's were you can see enemies coming that use stealth to close distances to you (unless Captain Teemo is on duty), so all it really does is help you chase enemies slightly better via the whole vision thing. I really don't see how that's OP in any way, IMO Exhaust is more annoying.

Well it still takes a precious slot for a caster.

None of this makes any sense at all.
1) If you hit Wukong with a spell and he pushes W, it shows you the real one.
2) Even despite my warning not to whine about Rengar being OP so the item being an OP counter is justified, you did it.
3) So your argument that the item is not OP is that "Talon has never been that great"? lol. Ok.
4) I don't even know what to make of your comments on Akali and Vayne.

What are you getting at here? Most of the characters you mentioned are ALREADY **** in 3v3 (Twitch, Vayne, Akali, Talon), and you're arguing in favor of an item that completely gimps their main mechanic because, what, it just makes them crappier?? And then, the heroes that are strong in 3v3 that use stealth (Rengar, Wu) you're saying "it's fine, they're OP anyway"?

Your argument is not only completely emotive and nonfactual, it contradicts itself.

The Sweeper and new Wriggles completely screws stealth champions. The Sweeper is only going to be more common with the next patch.

Poor Wukong =(

Only its passive is too strong (on Twisted Treeline): which is being removed in the patch. The active "mist" is fine. It's on a 60 second cooldown. You realize that good players in Summoner's Rift would just carry vision wards against these champions?

That was true for Twisted treeline.

It's getting changed next patch.

It loses the passive sight upon spell-cast damage. It gets more AP and the 10% MS from Wooglet's.
