Weekly fluctuations are actually very minimal because we collect data from every territory across the world that has League of Legends. Although preliminary, the data is very promising.

The actual numbers on behavioral change is really cool to see

but one thing struck me funny

"As an example, the system caught a player who was reported in 100% of his games after Honor launched, but he also got Honor in nearly every game. This obvious trader was caught."

I tend to play really.... interestingly. I'm a fun player to play with as long as you don't take the game 100% seriously (i troll pretty hard, playing things like AD lux in ranked, or support heimerdinger, and i tend to make goofy comments throughout the game... and i might be known far and wide for never buying tier 2 boots...) So my behavior can be seen as highly annoying, or highly entertaining, depending on the person, no matter which team i'm on. I can guarantee you that i'm reported for one thing or another pretty often, if nothing else, because i'm being trolled by the people i queued with
Anyways, i also tend to get a good amount of honor points because, regardless if i troll or not, i win a good amount of my games by carrying as these goofy builds (when i play serious i always lose btw) I know i've gotten honorable opponent as AD lux, and 10/3/11 sona (i was supposed to be support but me and corki switched ) I also got reported by a rage-face karthus on our team because, though i was winning us the game, i wasn't playing serious enough for his taste

Also, i know a lot of people who are REALLY good, but they tend to rage at their team. Like, these guys carry games with scores like 40/2, but they swear a lot at their teammates and so on, but don't ever type in all chat. Now the enemy team is giving them honorable opponent, but the allied team is reporting them

I mean, 100% games honored and 100% games reported, yeah, he's probably honor trading, but at the same time there ARE other explanations too

Keep spending that RP buddy.
It's funny, cause we won't have to deal with people who make new accounts for 30 levels.

Overall it is a good thing. It is interesting to note the greatest effect is in the casual games. This isn't a bad thing, that is probably the area that needs the most help. Some players may never play ranked.

Good work Riot.

I've got a question, or more like a suggestion.

Do you think that it is still, now that people can achieve Crests to prove their worth, a good thing to be able to see someone else's Honour in their Profile?
Because I could imagine that after some weeks, when most people have alot of Honour, some people (who maybe didn't play alot e.g.) might be shunned for having less Honour.
And since the Honour system was partly programmed to be able to see the positive players, I think seeing Crests would be sufficient for that.
This is something we specifically took into account when designing the Honor Initiative. We never want Crests of Honor to be so common that if you don't have one, you will be shunned as a negative player. We always want Crests to be rare enough that when you do see one, you know they are a very awesome player to play with; however, if you don't have one, it isn't impossible for you to earn one if you make a serious effort.

Also, Crests can be lost if you are not continuously positive in your matches, or start being toxic and get banned by the Tribunal.

No matter what anyone says I really like this honor system, I don't think I haven't played a game where I have not gotten at least 1 honor point of some kind. But I don't play much anyways due to school and such.

What I am really glad about is the decrease of people being a negative person (even if it is fake) and the increase in people saying "gj", "well played", saying "thank you" whenever you save them or help them with something and things like that. I don't really care if it is fake, I decide for myself if it is or isn't. You can usually tell when a person is not genuine where they say something like "don't forget to hit that honor button after the game", or "honor me and I will honor you".

But overall I like seeing those percentages, and that Riot is finally giving a reward for good behaviour instead of just punishment for negative behaviour.

Good job Riot keep up the good work and I can't wait to see what else is in-store for the honor system.

Mr Lyte Sir,

Have you seen a correlation between people receiving 'Teamwork' honor as being those with the best KDA's? If so, what, if anything, might you adjust so this particular ratio is more reflective of positive teamwork over positive KDA's?

I can get testy from time to time when having a bad match, and honestly the honor system has caused me to tone it down and try to be less angry when I'm having a rough match. Feels good when you get honorable mention from your teamates, and more so when its from the enemy, takes the edge off of a loss and keeps the high going from a win

So far i like the honor point system, I think 1 thing that would help push this big machine forward would be to make honor points redeemable for skins. But not only skins but skins specific only to honor points which could not be purchased otherwise. Another idea would be to have honor specific sound packs for characters changing what they say in their emotes.

Love this game, i am sure what ever you come up with will keep us all enthralled.
