Could Tiamat Build Out of Philo Stone?

Junglers/Tops could trade in Philo for a Tiamat, which would boost jungle speed (I hope) and provide an offensive option for Philo. It already has the Philo Health/Mana regen stats. Maybe if Riot increased the splash range (only by a bit, at least 7 to reach 100), and explored removing the long sword ingredient/stat, then maybe Tiamat could see a little use.

Not bad idea.
Not sure if it help Tiamat become useable, but for folks who like this item why not.

but then tiamat would be more expensive so we need another buff with it. tiamats splash range is too small (93). cant even hit all the monsters together while jungling.
so i would suggest that the splash range is increased from 93 to 125 when skills are used. this way when trundle is jungleing he can actually use rabid bite on multiple monsters. this can also work for WW and many other heroes

It seems like PhiloStone is mostly used by supports, though, while Tiamat is meant for attackers. Support champs would just get the Stone for gp5 and then sell it for a support item, while AD champs would still dismiss it, and inexperienced players might end up just seeing the PhiloStone as a Tiamat component, be told that Tiamat is useless, and then dismiss the Stone as also useless due to their association.

I think that it would be better to have the Stone build into an item that gave the health and mana regen as an aura, since it's already a good gp5 item for supports to use and that would give them a way to build it into a supportive item. Tiamat might be better off being a pure AD item with a lower build cost (to help AD carries farm early-game, and junglers kill jungle camps more efficiently) which can then be built into a decently powerful AD item that shares its passive, but doesn't give as much of a buff as some current items (so players could build Tiamat for farming and then sell it late-game, or build it into something that's good in teamfights and save cash but sacrifice some damage in the process.

And yes, the splash should be larger.

Most junglers and some solo tops also get philo stone.

Would be interesting seeing as Tiamat Stacks so when ever you complete one, you just get another Philostone, but I think it leaves the cheap sustain from seeing even less play.... it does need an AOE buff though, and possibly some movespeed, seeing as Tiamat was a WINGED demon with Multiple heads, change the Splash all together increase the RANGE by a bunch but only have it affect 2 additional targets near your original targets, maybe apply on hit affects and blam some interesting combos will be born such as TIAMAT+BLACK CLEAVER+MALADY+WITS END+TWITCH's POISON and Expunge. Would be glass cannon style without having to go Infinity Edge, Phantom Dancer, Last Wisper, Like every does for every ranged ad carry....
