Dedication dance for Urf.

So since Urf likes water, and water makes waves, I made a dedication video of waving for Urf. Liquid like, freaky shiz, you know like waves in water. LOLOLOL

Warwick why did he kill you,
Most gentle, noble Urf,
Now people are wondering,
Will the savage get a nerf?

The Grey Beast struck, slashed and maimed,
Now he wears your skin,
We ask our kith and kin,
Will you be defamed?

I do not believe so,
For all have known of ye,
They heard of your struggle,
For you fought valiantly,

Hunters ready weaponry,
Now the hunt is on,
To find the Vile beasty,
Which hath slain our good friend Urf.

Urf can you hear me?
I am lost and so alone.
I'm askin' for your guidance.
Won't you come down from your watery throne?
I need a tight compadre who will teach me how to swim.
Riot thinks you're Dead,
But man, they can suck a c***.
Manatee's are not The Devil's work,
They are magical and rad.
I'll never Pwn as long as I am stuck here with these adds.

I hear you brave young Summoner,
You are hungry for a win.
But to learn the ancient methods,
Sacred doors you must unlock.
Escape Riot's clutches,
And this oppressive Clanhood.
On a journey you must go,
To find the land of Atlantis!
In The City of Fallen Manatee's,
Where the ocean meets the sand,
You will form a strong alliance,
And the world's most awesome Clan.
To find your Fame and fortune,
Through the Rift you must walk.
You will face Many opponents,
Now go my son and Rock!

Boredom and comedy central inspired. Please do not ban me riot

Urf, here's my tribute to you...

____________

Urf's Song
____________

Urf the Manatee,
He would have been the greatest friend to you and to me.
He came to us with a humble goal in mind,
And friends, let me tell you ― he was one of a kind.

In his little, warm heart, he held a single dream,
And he sung it aloud, as he swam along a shimmering stream.
"To be a champion in the League, a friend and an ally to my greatest hero, Jax.
Fighting and surviving, always watching my companions' backs."

And one day, finally, he thought his wish would come true,
But his fate that day, he never knew…
Coming up on the shore, eyes full of glee,
Finally the day had come ― when his hopes would finally be free.

As he waddled along the sandy shore,
He sang his happy song once more:
"Now finally I'll be a champion in the League, an ally to the amazing Jax!
Fighting and surviving, saving my friends from enemy attacks."

But little did the manatee know,
A vicious werewolf was watching him, his evil red eyes aglow.
Poor little Urf never stood a chance,
Against Warwick's murderous, malicious dance.

Torn apart before he could cry,
But he uttered his song once more, before it was his time to die:
"To fight alongside him… the great Jax…
Always striving, surviving… and watching my friends' backs…"

Poor little Urf cried tears of sadness ― his dream would now never come true…
Never, my fellow summoners, never,
Could this kind little manatee,
Be a friend, an ally, to me or to you…

In our memories he'll always stay,
We'll remember him as we fight on, day after day…
Urf's joyous song will forever live on,
His dream, his legacy, will never be gone…

Never forget, summoners ― Urf the Manatee,
In our hearts, is where he'll always be…

Thank you Urf, for never giving up on your humble wish,
May you find peace now, and live in eternal bliss.

Urf’s story is a tragic one, and yet his chance was stolen from him. I was a summoner in that match, the one where his life was permanently taken from us. Allow me to recall, as Urf’s summoner was my friend…

Urf stared into the room. The manatee had the minigun on his back, bib at his neck, and weapons ready along his sash. He knew he could prove himself a champion worthy of regular competition. With these battles with the older heroes, he’d have to prove himself to the Institute of War, before anyone would see his abilities in regular battles.
He had been shown to a room that was a dark abyss. There was the door he entered through, but the room had no end, everything black. Yet, those before him were plainly visible. He looked at his fellow champions.
Before he could look at them all, one caught his attention as he walked up to him. It was Jax, his hero. The man had reeled off more consecutive wins than anyone, and even to this day used only his lamppost to fight. A brass lamppost. Urf had always been in awe of his ability to rival the bow of Ashe or sword of Tryndamere, with a lamppost.
Jax approached him plainly, almost with a quickened pace. He stopped barely a foot away from Urf. Jax examined him quickly, moving his head up and down, looking around him. Urf didn’t move, except trying to look at his face. Through the clothes, he couldn’t make anything out. He wasn’t even sure what his eyes were.
Jax spoke abruptly, no visible clothing moving to part for his mouth. “You are Urf, correct?”
“Yes sir!” Responds an excited Urf.
“Your summoner is a man of skill.” Explains Jax. “Listen to every word. We all do, and we do our best. Do this, and you will be safe. Mistakes are made, but no one is perfect, nor are we invincible.”
“Good to know, Jax, sir!” He responds again, unable to control his obvious excitement. Urf felt awkward having to listen to the commands of another being, who can see him and all his allies almost at once, yet at the same time, it was relieving. He can’t see everything, and his summoner can talk with other summoners whose heroes are halfway across the map. It’s an advantage he’d prefer to just fighting a bunch of enemies alone. It’s controlled too, he doesn’t have to worry about a true death, sans the pain, of course…
Nidalee, Ryze, and Twitch all give Urf a look. The silence is long in waiting for the summoners to be prepared, but Nidalee breaks the silence. “So… what does he do?”
“We’ll find out, won’t we?” Answers Jax. Twitch and Nidalee give heavy sigh.
Ryze only scoffs. “I’ll have to carry us, I suppose. Wish me luck. I hear Warwick is part of the other team. Keep him off me,” Comments Ryze.
“We’ll just watch out for him then,” Twitch says. “He won’t escape my eyes…”

---

After several minutes, blue pillars of light engulf every hero, and soon, the black, endless room turns into the battleground, Summoner’s Rift.
The instant transition startles Urf. Before him is the mighty Nexus, with it’s blue jewel at it’s top. It’s slowly descending, marking the start of the battles.
I suppose, with a long-range melee and your helpful l first spell, we should get you a vampiric scepter, Says a voice to Urf. It doesn’t come from anywhere in particular, but it seems like his own thought, yet a separate entity. Suppose DPS is a good idea…
Are you my summoner? Responds Urf, using just his thoughts.
I am indeed. And I’m going to show everyone that you can be powerful, helpful, and useful. Just like you want. Let’s do this.
Urf is commanded to use poseidon’s gaze to reveal the spawn of the enemy base, revealing where everyone is going. Urf notes that a little girl with a teddy bear is heading south, as he heads east to meet at the corner. Twitch follows him, Nidalee goes towards the middle path, while Jax and Ryze head north.
“You betterrrr not diiiie a lot.” Says Twitch which his raspy voice.
“You don’t have to worry about me!” Urf responds. He couldn’t drop the excited tone if he wanted too.
“Farrrr too many have said that, and farrrr too many of them have lost me a battle. Do not die, or I will get rid of you!” Twitch threatens, pointing his crossbow at him.
“Hey, heyyyyy. We’re pals here, I won’t do so badly that a little girl becomes more powerful than us.” Urf finishes as they reach the tower, and they ready themselves, knowing a Warwick could be anywhere, and that they would have to fight hard to overcome their enemies. It was only a trial, but to Urf, it felt like life or death.

---

It becomes apparent that Urf is alone in his bottom lane, and has to deal with the fact that his teammates are getting ganked. Twitch is called to help defend the middle tower, and Nidalee gets jumped by enemies at the northernmost lane, Jax fights the Lizard in the forest, with Ryze still holding the northern tower. Urf knows that it’s less than a minute before Nidalee can fight again, and he’s relieved at this system that summoners can still keep them alive, even after “death”. With the little mage girl, Annie, now missing, he takes it upon himself to slay the Dragon. He knows that it’s only halfway up the river from his southern corner, and at his current experience, it’s manageable by himself. His summoner agrees and directs him towards the dragon. Before he engages, something starts happening. Jax is screaming something from a distance, and Urf can’t contact his summoner for what to do.
Hello? Summoner, help me! What is going on!? He calls out, with no response. Urf, alone and scared, decides to head down the river, toward the middle of the map, towards his allies. As he moves, the screams get louder, and more desperate. But he still can’t make out the words. He heads up the river again, hoping the speed boost in the water helps him reach safety.
Nearing the brush, he hears a sound. A howl. A rush of force hits his side, and he’s smacked to the ground. He looks up, and see’s a wolf. The infamous Warwick that Twitch had said he’d make a point to defend against. Urf’s first reaction was fear, but he knew how to fight too, and he'd defend himself against this beast.
“Well, you certainly make for good prey, don’t you…” he says, licking his lips. Urf cringes, but gives him a brave look, not saying anything. He starts to use his abilities, swarming him with a massive tidal wave, and body slamming him. Warwick takes the wave, getting flipped upside down, but lands on his feet as he blocks the body slams with his arms, his feet rooted in the ground, keeping him from moving. Urf ends his assault, tired, and only able to move.
Warwick smiles. “That tickled.”
Urf panics, and the wolf lunges, taking bites and slashes with such ferocity that Urf can’t move, only feel the pain of red stripes being wrought across his body, each sting feeling more faint than the next. During the onslaught, he only gets out one yell before he hears the calls of Jax.

“Get back to your tower, Warwick is on a rampage!”

Urf fades away, as Warwick cackles to himself.
Jax and Twitch arrive where their summoners told them that Urf had been taken by Warwick.
“I don’t see a body, just… a red line down this river. It’s thick. It’s… too much.” Describes Jax outloud.
I can’t tell what is going on. Someone has killed Urf’s summoner, and we don’t know what happened. We are unsafe here, and we’re going to try and keep commanding, but we aren’t safe.
Twitch’s summoner says a similar story. “Why is someone trying to destroy the league?”
We don’t know, but his body is still where it was, just fallen to the ground. His display is in front of him, turned blank. He is cackling with energy, almost like electricity.
Twitch and Jax exchange concerned glances. “We have… to continue.” Says Jax. “We’ll regroup at our middle tower. Nidalee is back, we have to discuss this.” Twitch nods, and they head up through the brush on the river towards their tower. Before they even turn around, they hear a laugh from across the way. They both look up, and see something most would call a horror.
Warwick is standing at his tower, his team behind him, but he’s not wearing his normal gold armor. No, he’s wearing an animal skin. The skin of a Manatee.
Jax stares at him. Though covered by the guise of his clothes, his eyes burn as if aflame. He swings the lamppost down, ready to jump at anything and everything, almost quivering in rage. Twitch almost yells and aims the bow directly at warwick.
“What’s wrong, can’t deal with a normal little battle?” He says, mockingly.
“You knew something happened to his summoner. Now he can’t come back. What do you have to say for yourself!?” Jax screams across to the other team. Most are startled, but Warwick shrugs.
“What helps me win, helps me win. I did nothing other than kill him while he was alone.” He smirks, wiping his mouth with his hand.
Jax doesn’t respond. He charges the werewolf, and the wolf charges him. Jax can only think of the pain that someone who looked up to him, to only fight in the league as well as him, died attempting to reach that dream. Every other summoner had left, their champions retreating, but not the ones commanding Warwick and Jax. They were going to annihilate one another, and someone had to risk their life to prevent more tragedy in the league.

(For the sake of brevity, if this is posted somewhere, probably just include the last "part" of this)

Urf's Memorial

Deep within Summoner’s Rift,
I kneel by the slowly flowing river.
In the bushes I look for a clue,
Any clue that my sea going friend might leave.

My mind refuses to believe that terrible event,
“No, he’s just hiding,” my mind says.
But just how long can I deceive myself?

My hand spreads the growing grass aside,
I could no longer hold my emotions,
As my eyes gazed upon the spatula he left behind.
I clutch tightly that kitchen utensil to my heart,
Letting a mournful cry fill the cold air around me.

I don’t know how long it was until I finally stood up,
Before walking down the river the Sea Cow knew best.
The fish scattered away as I trudged through,
I knew they would welcome the Manatee with open fins.
But even now I could feel their sorrow.

But Urf the Manatee will not be forgotten!
I will give his spatula to Jax,
Through him let Urf’s voice be known!
And earn his place within League of Legends.

This is my little poem about Urf. I kept it short and sweet, I hope you like it.

For he was Urf, The Manatee

Shield in paw
Spear in the other
He held them high
His duty above all other
For he was Urf, the Manatee,

Shield in paw
Spear in the other
He surfed his river
Guarding to and hither
For he was Urf, the Manatee

But there came a day
On his mundane route
Where to his left, he heard a rustle
Others they may have fled
To the bush, fearing the fed
But no, this was Urf, the Manatee

So he stood his ground
Shield in paw
Spear in the other,
And from the wood there came a beast
A wolf, his grin so crooked
The terror of the jungle, Warwick the wicked.

But this was Urf, the Manatee
And shield in paw
Spear in the other
He held his ground, the river, his mother
And wolf ran in, claws ablaze
A swipe of furry, a bloody haze
The Manatee, with his small shield
His fickle spear
He stood his ground with never a fear
And when his shield was torn
His spear a shredded token
His courage remained unharmed
Even as he lay there broken,

And the wolf of the jungle
He strode out clean
But the river was red
In memory of a requiem.

Twas the night before fools day, when all through the rift
Not a champion was slaying, not even a Twitch
The river ran high by the dragon they flow
In hopes that a ward would soon start to glow

The champions were nestled all snung near their shrine
While visons of team fights dance in their mind
And Mundo in his torn shirt and Urf in his blubber
Had just settled their brains for a long long supper

When out of the forest arose such a monster
A figure sprang from the bushes to see what's the deter
Away to the river, he ran and used flash
He found his opponent, then he sliced and he dashed

The fresh smell of blood on the manatees face
Gave him away, the hunter knew of his place
When he oppened his eyes he saw him appear
A big scarry wolf, that soon be near

With a little old flash, so lively and quick
He knew in a moment that WASN'T St. Nick
More rapid than Sivir his way they flew
He cried and shouted, his time overdue

Now Neptune! now, Fontus! now, Volturnus and Posiden!
On, Narwhals! On, Aquaman! on Gorgons and Triton!
To the top of the water! To the top of land!
Now please grant me your powers and smite this fur-man

As dead as a cat ran over by cars
Urf was now safe, but with plenty of scars
So down to his shrine, the fish started flapping
With a bar full of health, he heard lots of snapping

Then in a twinkle, he looked over his shoulder
There was the wolf man, now stronger and bolder
He came back to life with Guardian Angel
The gods did forget to check on that angle

He was dressed in all gold, from his chest to his claws
And he wore no cloths, just had big sharp jaws
He scent his blood from a mile away
Urf could never run faster to get to the bay

The wolfs eyes were pointed! His teeth how sharp!
His claws like daggers, his mouth made a mark!
His huge scarry mouth was drawn up like a bow
And his claws and his teeth ripped Urf down below

A quick little ult and Urfs blubber tight in his teeth
And the blood it ran down Warwicks blue cheek
His bloody face and his nice and full belly
That shook when he laughed like it was full of blood jelly

He was still quick and nimble like a scary old wolf
He looked at carcass, prepared to engulf
A sniff of his nose and a bark to the moon
And giving a snarl back to the jungle this dreaded afternoon

He sprang on the golem, and to his team he gave a buff
And away the enemies ran then turned rather rough
But they heard him exclaim, then he ran out of sight
"Happy Foolsday to all, and to all a good night!"
