Velkoz's ult goes through Yasuo's windwall, despite the fact that it's a projectile. It happened twice in one game

Velkoz's ult is a laser, not a projectile. So this is actually working as intended.

So can we fix Viktor's laser for consistency then?

Or even address Viktor at all?

Viktor's E is not a laser, it's a ray, so Yasuo's Wind Wall blocks it :^)

Viktor's laser is programmed differently than vel'koz's ult. the animation makes look like a laser, but it's really a linear pass-through skillshot that deals damage to enemies. thematically, i agree that it should probably penetrate, but that would require a rework of how his ability functions.
(for the record, other lasers like lux's ult or xerath's arcanopulse also penetrate projectile shields)

For anyone who's having trouble understanding this (as I was) I guess this could be thinking of it as though Yasuo can only block projectiles he could "slice" through.. but this is pretty.. something. And this doesn't make sense for Braum, who has a shield. *shrugs* weird design decisions.

It's not about what the spell looks like.

Let's pretend for a second that there are no such thing as lasers or fireballs or anything.

Things that Yasuo cannot block include Lux's Laser, Xerath's Q, and Velkoz's Laser. These are spells that have no travel time. They affect a entire area INSTANTANEOUSLY when they are cast. Whether or not you're at the base or tip of these spells does not matter, you will be hit at the exact same time.

Viktor's laser on the other hand is basically just a traveling projectile coded with an animation that makes it look like a laser traveling on the ground.

This.

If it has a travel time (like Braum Q or Viktor laser) then the wall blocks it. If it instant (Like Lux and Vel'koz ults) then it can't stop it.

Then why is it called "Life Form Disintegration Ray" if it is in fact a laser and not a ray? Could you update the name of the skill for "clarity" purposes?
