I just built a new computer and I want to download LoL on it, but I recently got new internet that only gives me 30GB a month. That's perfectly fine for playing the game on my laptop now, but I want to know how much will be used installing the game. From what I remember and from what my friends tell me, the download link on the LoL website is for the base game, which requires you to install every update. If that's true, I probably won't be able to download it. Is it possible to transfer the game from my laptop using a usb drive? And anyone @Riot, if its true that you have to update the game once the base game is downloaded, could you update the link to the most recent version of the game?

Obviously you cared negatively or positively enough to post something

Nope, I have an opinion and I'm not afraid to share it.

You can transfer the game over. No need to download again.

Don't worry, league is only like 4-5 gigs.

im transferring "riot games" now, which is 3.5GB. I assume I need to transfer "League of Legends," but what about anything in "program files?"

Morgageddon pops in.

If you have the game installed on a different computer, you can copy/paste the entire installation over. As of right now, League is around 6 Gigs and change (I believe), and a standard game can use anywhere from 10-40 megs of data transfer (personal testing by teathering while playing a few months back, not an official number) by the time all is said and done. Hope it all helps!
