Hey so im running on a mac, (no idea what version and stuff which might impact this)
But i was wondering if anyone else is getting the visual glitch where the oracle symbol, sight ward symbol (the eye above the wards) and the eye symbol above turrets are all just blue squares. Sorry if someone else has asked this already

Sounds like you are missing some files for the particles or something. Might be worth repairing or reinstalling LoL (sort of a pain in the butt though), otherwise I guess post on the Mac forums/bug reports and they might be able to help.

Morgageddon pops in.

If you shifted your focus during the loading screen to another program/window, you may have caused the textures to load improperly, which is why you can see blue squares, our version of 'This texture not found.'

I've seen this happen a few times now with my client. Is it going to be fixed with a graphical update of some kind?

I've actually noticed this on a lot of games.

Why does that even happen? How does that happen!? How does one even begin to construct a program that loads different material based on whether or not it's in focus intentionally, let alone by accident?

If anyoneeven wants to just spew some technical mythos at me without breaking it down into layman terms, feel free. The burden is on me to understand the answer to my own question. I just want any info on this mystifying annoyance.
