Read your post completely, here's my thoughts:

1. You need a summary at the beginning that is 1-2 short sentences long telling the reader what your primary issue is. "My LP isn't being displayed to me correctly in client."

2. You were very detailed. Unfortunately, you were so detailed, it was difficult to comprehend what you were getting at in your original email: especially for someone fast-reading your emails, you made it very difficult to understand what you wanted. Keeping your points, facts, and questions distinct, separated, and formatted is important. You did do these things, but you didn't have summaries before each barrage of facts or questions.

"My LP isn't being displayed to me correctly in client. <details you had as written> As you can see, my record of LP gains and losses are not adding up according to my client.

-------------------

Ok, how should you respond now?

well, first, some ideas of things i'd ask real quick:

-did you try comparing your score on your client vs lolking.net?

-did you try re-installing LoL client?

-is your LP correct now?

-------------------

If "no" to each of these three, then I'd recommend asking the following:

"How do I get my client to show me my accurate LP. It is showing me ##. Is this accurate? If not, how do I refresh my client to show what it actually is according to your servers?" I would include a full screenshot of the client, date and time down below on the task bar, and your LP showing on the client window.

Hope that helps.

hey I read your entire post, so I think your response can look like this:

"Sorry for wasting your time with my cry-baby attitude. I won't act like this anymore. Thanks for the free game."

sincerely, *****

I don't expect you to be anything than what you are, which is obviously apparent and goes without saying, however, why did you bleep out my name? I'm me, who else would I be? Unless, of course, you were inserting something lewd. If that is the case, please allude to which one so that I might garner the full effect of your meaningless and paltry insult. I mean, I feel a tad shorted, if that is the case. The least you can do is not leave the insult to my imagination. Make me do all the work why don't you. Sheesh.

Lol

Morgageddon wanders in.

First off, thanks for not naming and shaming, but the last specialist you were talking to was me (which anyone can find out by looking at my 'Good luck!' and knowing I'm the only one who does that).

As for your overall issue, let me step through what I saw as I looked at your ticket. I read through all of your responses, and took a look at your League history in regards to the games you were talking about. What I can see is the following:

LEAGUE_POINTS_UPDATE_LOSS | LP: 57 | 2013-10-02 21:07:30 MST
QUEUE_DODGE | LP: 73 | 2013-10-02 19:44:45 MST
LEAGUE_POINTS_UPDATE_LOSS | LP: 76 | 2013-10-02 19:39:35 MST
LEAGUE_POINTS_UPDATE_WIN | LP: 92 | 2013-10-02 06:18:04 MST
LEAGUE_POINTS_UPDATE_LOSS | LP: 71 | 2013-10-02 05:23:49 MST
LEAGUE_POINTS_UPDATE_WIN | LP: 88 | 2013-10-02 04:44:48 MST
LEAGUE_POINTS_UPDATE_WIN | LP: 67 | 2013-10-02 03:56:08 MST
LEAGUE_POINTS_UPDATE_LOSS | LP: 45 | 2013-10-02 03:14:30 MST
LEAGUE_POINTS_UPDATE_LOSS | LP: 61 | 2013-10-02 02:49:54 MST
LEAGUE_POINTS_UPDATE_LOSS | LP: 77 | 2013-10-02 02:19:12 MST
LEAGUE_POINTS_UPDATE_WIN | LP: 93 | 2013-10-02 01:07:51 MST

Now, this is slightly different than what you started your ticket with. There are some differences with actual LP gains to what you saw and to what you said. For instance, the down to 61LP and then win for 17LP and moving up to 66. From what I can see, you just forgot about an entire game, which when you look at your stated LP gains, they do match up with the gains I can see, just one entire game apart.

Some players experience delayed LP gains, where it takes minutes for the after game report to populate with the proper gains and losses. Some players don't even see it until they return to the main Air Client and look at their Summoner Profile. Other players sometimes are out of sync with the game database and the Air Client.

Being out of sync means you'll be one game behind real time in terms of seeing your end game stats. That can sometimes happen due to an improper registry entry in our database which shows your second to last game played instead of first. It is usually fixed after a game or two, as the database resumes from the correct location. For you, it seems yours took around 14 hours, which isn't unheard of, but obviously not normal.

What this is, is an error of communication between the database and the client, where it shows your gains from the previous game, not your current one. It is coupled with the improperly displayed gains issue (where you can see +6 when in fact you gained +14 or similar type events). This is also a known issue, and is being worked on. I cannot say when or why this occurs, but I can say it's not something we laugh at while sitting in leather chairs around a fireplace. We understand this bug, it is something we've noticed and it will be fixed.

'Hi Morgageddon, wow that was a long response that basically told me there's a bug I'm suffering from. What do?! Riot pls!'

Where does this leave you?

I don't know if you're getting correct gains visually on your end until I hear what you see from the next one. That'll tell me if you've been synced up properly or not yet. I highly doubt you're not synced again, but it's possible.

'Why did I get incorrect answers and a lackluster response from you?'

I gave you a very simple explanation that I thought would be clear enough to understand. You're seeing a bug that's very similar to the 'I see an X instead of a check mark on my promo series, but I won' bug. I also ended with the fact that you were still getting correct MMR/Lp gains from it and that but for seeing it wrong, your score and skill is not compromised or lost.

tl;dr

I'm sorry it wasn't as clear as you'd like, or as easy to understand, but I figured you would accept the short response and for that, I do apologize.

I'm sorry it wasn't as clear as you'd like, or as easy to understand, but I figured you would accept the short response and for that, I do apologize.
My primary question was answered, but, at the same time, the other questions I'd posed had remained unanswered and were not acknowledged. That was the part I was having trouble with. Did you solve my initial and primary concern? Yes, but, by the last specialist (i.e. you), I had already had that part answered for me, which was why I expressed frustration at trying to figure out how to get the rest of my questions resolved or at least acknowledged, even if it was something along the lines of "it's a very complicated system that is difficult to explain without having hands-on experience and is too difficult to detail through the internet," etc. One example of one of my questions that had remained unanswered was in relation to the Submit Logs button. Thankfully another player, recently, answered that for me, but I didn't and don't understand why that wasn't addressed, which is the difficulty I experienced.

The answer you gave was great. I just didn't get all my questions addressed and was at a loss as to how to present them so that they would be, especially since I went through several specialists and attempted to reiterate them in some form or fashion. Is there any advice you could give me as to how to present the questions or make it more evident as to what I'm looking for in terms of a response when posting a ticket?

As for the "First off, thanks for not naming and shaming, but the last specialist you were talking to was me (which anyone can find out by looking at my 'Good luck!' and knowing I'm the only one who does that)."
I do not presume to know how many specialists there are, what all their end taglines are, and how common those taglines are amongst the specialists. I honestly don't know how many actually knew you were my last specialist until you said you were. Is there a list somewhere where all of the taglines for each specialist are listed? (Honest question as I do not know a ton about Riot or this site; which is also why I'd had so many questions :P) I'd initially assumed that very few people might guess at who everyone was by their taglines as I thought that the only people who might think they knew would be people that had dealt with that specific specialist before, in which case they would have their own experiences to use as a baseline when reviewing mine. Even if they had, they would have to assume that that person had not changed their tagline and that no one else had that tagline to be even remotely sure of who it was. I'd presumed "Good luck!" was generic enough that it would be quite common, but I apologize if it bothered you, caused you any discomfort, or you feel that the post put you or attempted to put you in a negative light in any sort of way, as that was not the purpose. I honestly didn't think anyone would recognize you by it (though it does make me see how some might recognize the others). This paragraph was just to explain my thought process, but I also want to let you know that I'll definitely take that aspect into account in the future. I apologize if it seemed like I was calling anyone out, or anything similar or related to that.

I had gone away for a bit and, when I came back, the ticket was closed for comments, so I reopened it regarding my secondary questions. (Thought you might like to know that and not that I'm just on the forums spreading things while not attempting to ameliorate the situation and providing the opportunity for it to be done) Are they huge questions? No. Nonetheless, I would like to be as knowledgeable as I can be when I can. If I get a message similar to the one I wrote above in this immediate post, that would be fine. I would just like them addressed by at least being acknowledged.

Like I said, you're answer was great in regards to my initial primary question. If I had gotten your response when I first posted the ticket, I wouldn't have half the questions I have, in all honesty. However, I didn't, and I'm one of those terribly curious people who wants to understand how things work or are presented so that I can make sense of the information presented to me even beyond the comprehension of the overall answer and solution. I understood the basics, but the way the primary question was answered led me develop secondary questions because I didn't understand the data that was presented in an effort to explain, even if I understood the explanation. There's honestly nothing to apologize for really. It was and is primarily exasperation in figuring out how to convey the proper messages and ideas. That's why I posted on here asking for help and suggestions and answers. It wasn't to shame or really complain, though it did help to share my exasperation, but, rather, it was an effort to figure out how improve my presentation of my issue so that I could get my questions addressed in a timely manner because I don't want to waste my time or yours, and I'm sure you don't want the same thing. Again, I'm sorry if I offended you in any way. I honestly loved the fact that your response was entirely unique (in its writing). By the time I thought of more to say, or rather another way to say it, I was unable to do so due to my location and then was unable to do so because it had been closed, so there was no way to redress the issue with you in particular. I apologize if it seems I've given you a bad shake, as it was not my intention.

Also, for me, you don't have to do the tl;dr stuff. If someone has a mind to type it, it deserves to be read, in my opinion. Not enough people take the time to listen, and there's also my curiosity. Words and sentences themselves can be quite intriguing, even disregarding their subject. I can be quite verbose, and I am well aware of this, so I typically applaud anyone who takes the time to read what I write in its entirety. Thank you. (Sincerely)

Don't ask so-called "secondary questions" on support tickets, they are like off-topic comments in a discussion thread and get rightfully ignored.
