No, I didn't buy Vista, actually, because there was actual PROOF, not just hearsay, that proved that OS was bad, at least at its release.

This really is it now, I'm out of here, I have places to be and people to see.

No it's just a more touch screen friendly OS, which is understandable since touch screen everything (minus televisions afaik) are becoming more popular.

Morgageddon pops back in.

No stuttering at all in League of Legends unless my computer is seriously doing too many things at once. As for Windows 7 or 8, I prefer 7 over 8 because of the more uses I can get on my desktop with it. Granted, it's slower than 8, because 8 is streamlined down and missing several other runtimes, and 8 is great for tablet based devices, but 8 is basically new, 8.1 is new. It's hard to say what might be issues with it or if it causes crashing with any programs/games. 7 is safe in my opinion.

Holy **** you are Canadian

There goes everything out the window because Canadian prices are **** huge for technology.
Just go prebuilt or laptop from the local electronics store.

avoid these words: Intel HD graphics

CPU:AMD FX-6200 Zambezi 3.8GHz (4.1GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Six-Core
Motherboard:GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Graphics:ASUS R9280X-DC2T-3GD5 Radeon R9 280X 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
Hard Drive:Western Digital WD Black WD5003AZEX 500GB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
Power Supply:RAIDMAX Blackstone series RX-700AC 700W
Continuous Power ATX12V V2.3 / EPS12V V2.91 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
Case: NZXT Tempest 410
RAM:G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory
This build should run you about $780 if you factor in promo codes and rebates.
It should be able to max out LoL and be able to play most modern games without issues on high or ultra settings depending on the game.
You'll have plenty of power and bronze certification is a plus
WD Black is a pretty fast mechanical harddrive and you can switch to a ssd or something else
Most games utilize 4 cores but for future proofing 6 cores couldn't hurt and it's pretty cost effective.
The case has pretty good airflow and supports usb 3.0 which is 10x faster than usb 2.0
The MB supports the CPU and usb 3.0
You could always add in an after market cooler if you wanted and more fans, but it should be fine.
And 8gigs of ram is enough for gaming
You might say hey u dumb dumb y no os.
I say -pirate it-

build a desktop, i spent 750 and haven't had a single problem in almost 2 years. with the money you save on parts and problems you can buy a cheaper tablet for class and such.

I haven't met a single problem with windows 8 either. It's just a learning curve, some mindless people complain about having to push an extra button to get to the desktop but it's easy to learn and looks cool.

For my computer I had my tech-savvy friend build it for me and paid him 20 bucks to do so. but as you make sure your parts match it's not too difficult.
