When you see frostbutt irelia do you go... "dat ass"

Also serious question about tryndamere is there anyway to make him better than he was in S2 but not AS good in s3 for the new upcoming season four? Because he's pretty over powered as is but he was terribad i heard season two.

Zed still waveclear safely with no mana cost because he uses an Energy system. Without blue, the other side will go OOM after 4-5 waves and has to b and lose CS, or farm under tower with AA.

Ahri burst may not be as strong as others but if it kills the ADC or APC, it kills the ADC or APC. You don't need to have Annie's burst to be an assassin. If it kills, it's already more than enough.

Kassadin may need charges but what a surprise, it is always there for every wave.

The burst excuse shouldn't really be usable. It's like how Phreak always say "Oh ori burst isn't that strong so it's okay to have all that utility" but just because I don't deal annie burst doesn't mean I deserv 3x the amount of utility every other champs have. Being able to deal 90% or even of the ADC health or even kill them is already too darn good. Overkilling is most of the time, a huge waste.

Two questions: Even if you won't let Leona proc her own passive, could you at least give her at least pseudo-viability as a solo lane tank? One of my fondest wishes is to play leona with an actual TANK build and zoom around the teamfight like a crazy sunbeam.

Second, what embarrasing thing in Sluggy Freelance? Pete's had a ton of ups and downs with the strip, but I always thought the ups were worth waiting out the downs. Off the top of my head, was it that horrible saturday strip 'replacement' artist who focused on the dimension of pain?

Hello there Xelnath! I noticed a comment about you being a pretty ragey player. Although Lyte would have a field day with me now, I'm wondering if you have any anti-rage tips for those of us that struggle with it. Also I noticed you replied to a DkS comment. Would you like to run a boss, or do some forest gank/hunting?

Cheers

Nick

Statikk and I found a basic solution. However, I don't really know how to move forward systematically.
Oh, sure. Here's the standard litmus. When an ability has a problem, it falls into one of these categories:

1) Is it clear? Do you understand what's happening as both user and victim?
2) Do you care? Is it impactful and meaningful to you?
3) Do you and the opponent have a response to this ability? Can you use it smartly *and* they know how to negate its power?
4) Is is satisfying to use the ability? Is it satisfying for the opponent when they negate the ability?
5) Does it fit within the theme of the character?

Usually, a sour ability (one which almost, but not quite works) fails hard in 1 of those categories and is weak in 2 or 3 of them. A super solid ability fits well in all 5. For example, Dark Binding nails all 5 of these points.

Good luck!

I've been thinking for the past month about one thing: League of Legends is a 'modern fantasy' setting. How 'modern' is it actually in terms of the 'common' things we see in our everyday life or things we hear are happening in the world?

Example of things I was thinking about were: Valoran Search and Rescue, Magical firefighting and 'How is the communication and transport across Valoran for a normal person resolved?' are there mages offering teleportation? Is the airship business coming nicely? How are people of Valoran aquiring food? Dyes? And how is it different in all the parts of this wonderful continent?

Also, the fact that we get less and less in-depth into things like 'Life in Noxus is DIAMETRALLY different from life in other city-states' because of mentality of people there... et cetera...

Hi Xelnath!

I was wondering, what did you major in when you went to college? Was it easy for you to figure out you wanted to work at a place like Riot? And how did you figure it out? As an undergrad, I'm really unsure about my future in terms of my career ._.

More game-related, as a Darius main, I was wondering what Riot's view on Darius is now. I personally feel that his ultimate nerf did the exact opposite of what was intended. It toned down his lane bullying mildly, but it hurt his team fighting more so, which was already quite weak, especially come late game. If anything were to be changed, I honestly think the ult should come back to the way it was or something like giving it complete reset at level 16. That or change his bleed to physical damage and revert the ult back to normal.

Anyway, have a good night. I'm off to bed and hopefully I see a response tomorrow :O

I remember now. So this is way more powerful than I thought initially. I used a similar version by you against the current iteration of Akali. I guess I simply need to answer these questions with greater care.
Thanks, this is really helpful!
