I haven't played a game since te patch and I don't feel like I'm getting the best help. I have been emailing player support since te incident and still no fixes. The tips that they do give me are not working at all. I asked about 3 seperate times if I could make an appointment to visit their office in Clayton missouri because I live really close to them. I'm not trying to do anything but get help loading this game. I have been digging through forums, redownloaing the game, and doing everything I possibly can. Even trying 4 different wifi connections. I'm not that smart with computers so there may be something's I'm not seeing which is why I've been trying to see if it would be appropriate for me to go into the riot office. I know at least 6 other people that are having the exact same problem as me and all we want to do is play. If a rioter could please comment on this as soon a possible that would be great.

How long are you waiting during the patch session? - Some patches take a long time. Especially if you are using wireless internet.

Is your internet connection dropping during the patch? -This can cause issues during patching.

Have you tried to plug your computer into the network using an ethernet cable? -This should speed up the process (although it still might take some time.) and it should give you a reliable connection as well.

My suggestion: Plug your computer in to the internet via ethernet cable, NOT wireless, open the LOL client and step away from the computer for 30 minutes and see if it has had any progress. If it has, but hasn't finished, step away for another 10, 20 or 30 minutes until it finishes.

If you post your Launcher/Patcher logs (instructions on where to find them are here: https://support.leagueoflegends.com/...f-Legends-Logs) I'll take a look and see if I can help you figure out what's going on.

I have already sent the logs to technical support LAST WEEK and they didn't provide me with a fix. I haven't been able to play the game since the patch and now this is very annoying because I'm sure I've dropped from silver to bronze. I have done everything possible but click the repair button. My Internet is not that fast and it will take every bit of 10 hours to repair it. I already waited 8 hours to install the game that stopped at %99.99 which was a big F YOU to me wasting my day trying to update this game. I know you guys have an office in Clayton missouri which I live near and I really need help with this. If it is possible for me to make an appointment with you guys that would be great. I just want to play. I have aatrox to get and that new udyr skin as well lol. Please respond soon

I'm a little confused here about what you want to get out of your time on the mac forums, so I'll just ask straight out.

Do you want help solving your problem, or are you just being confrontational and antagonistic in the hope that some random Riot employee will feel moved to call the tech support department and have them escalate your case?

The vast majority of people who ask for help on the forums have their issues solved without help from a Riot employee. The people who do most of the forum tech support are just regular players who are using their free time to help; They do not have access to the technical support department's logs, and they're under no obligation to help you if you're being obnoxious.

If you're willing to actually work with your peers to solve the issue, here's what you need to do:
- Calm down, stop grandstanding, and stop bumping threads all over the forum.
- Make a new post, with a full description of your problem, the steps you've tried to alleviate it, your system specs, and all your logs.
- Be patient; It could be a day or two between people replying to your thread. We have lives outside of helping you.

If you'd like to try some proactive work on your problem, you could try the one thing you've so far refused to do:
- Hit your repair button, let it sit overnight. Do not interrupt it during the repair/install process. Even if it takes 12 hours at 99.9%, don't stop it. If you have a slow hard drive or a slow internet connection, it can and will take a long time. Yes, the mac patcher can be slow sometimes, just deal with it like the rest of us; Interrupting it starts the process over.

There would be no need for me to type with an attitude if the Mac client was in better shape, right? I'm not trying to cause any more problems than I already have. You must not understand how aggravating it is to email player support for 2 weeks and beg for a fix on the forums almost everyday with no progress on my end. I understand that these fixes may work for the majority of people but it's simply not working for me. So excuse me for having a sharp tone in my messages. Yesterday I pressed repair at 12:45pm it's now 9:30am and the repair has stopped, it gave me another error screen. But since in being confrontational and obnoxious in your eyes I will just stop playing and asking for help from player support and the forums in hope that one day the game will fix itself or I get a pc instead. Have a nice day.

Greetings "Adjudicator",
First of all I would like to say that I'm not sure how you were trained when Riot employed you, but your response to this summonses query was not only unhelpful, it was rude, and benign. When addressing customers issues I believe you should treat them respect, EVEN if they have been obnoxious (in this case I don't see anything that the summoner said that could be considered belligerent). He merely was asking for some information on the Mac platform that Riot only recently developed for LOL, and I believe we all understand that it will have some kinks to he tweaked until it is running 100% smoothly. However, no information was given for the reason behind the patch failing on the Mac platform for a full week. That loses your entire Mac player base for 7 days and leaves a lot of customers disgruntled with their service. I am glad that Riot is working diligently as usual to create a fix for the Mac community, as is everyone else I'm sure. So, please, don't go "grandstanding" yourself. Leave the tech support to tech specialists, and stick to your field of service (I would assume that would be tribunal issues based on your title). As for you having a life outside of being a Riot employee: You are getting paid to do your job when you are on duty, shape up and take that time to do your job and not bully other summoners. Thanks for your input, regardless. As you said, the player base is typically much more helpful than Riot employees demonstrating skills such as you. Have a wonderful day.

Life outside of helping me.... Last time I checked someone's career is their life. But if you feel as though helping me is not your job then please by all means do not respond to this.
