Riot acts like a bunch of kindergarten teachers in my opinion. They have the tribunal and reporting system set up so no matter what you can always get reported for something, it's an absolute joke and everyone will report for even the smallest things because they can. After it hits tribunal it's an instant punish 80%> of the time.

****Report for : "Offensive Language"

Options : "Language Filter - Yes/no?"

..... lol.... "Ingore function" </> ? *****

All useless and counter productive options implemented in a game to treat everyone like children and punish them as such, giving them the options to punish each other when 98% of the community shouldn't qualify for the power they have received.

Banning pro players for a bit of trash talk? What happened to the good old fashion competitive days were people where capable of taking a bit of trash talk to help tighten up competition so players have ego and self pride on the table to lose when competing, I've never seen a problem with that ever. Riot is just butt hurt about babying the whiners.

Riot shouldn't be the ones making the decision to ban pro players from the eSport, they should be investing in creating a real organization to judge pro players. The tribunal is ****. By their standards, 80%+ of all LoL players should be at least temp banned at almost all times.
If a pro player makes such a mistake that 80% of the community makes and gets banned from his career by the same organization that DOESN'T ban 80% of their player base.... That's worse than ****ed up.

Sure, you don't want pros doing such things, that's understandable. So take it up with their team... You want your game to be a part of eSports, then you have to act like your a part of eSports!! It's none of your business saying that a player that another company pays to play a game for a living is no longer allowed to play.

LoL is a special case, because they run everything themselves. It's understandable that they want to get rid of bad apples, but using the tribunal to end someone's career?
You're only hurting eSports by acting unprofessional and not following the proper channels.

Thank you, Riot.

There is a difference between friendly rivalries and outright toxic behavior and some members of this community think that spewing forth a torrent of vitriolic filth is just "friendly banter". It is not and negatively impacts the aesthetic and environment of this fantastic game.

Facts:
Recently, IWillDominate was brought before the Tribunal for consideration of a permanent ban. The majority of players voted to punish and today the Riot player behavior team has approved the ban after review of the case.

So just curious why do you broadcast his ban and not other peoples bans? Espically disclosing private information, aka his name. Granted, a good portion of people may already know it but this seems highly unprofesional then simply stating pro players are held to the same standards and that (1) had been banned for being toxic.

Im not sure how contracts with teams are laid out but this pretty bad to ban someone from a game then release their real name to million of people, essentialy blacklisting the person and can be construde as attack on the person.

This makes me sick. Making the details of a ban on an individual public knowledge and banning someone who's behavior has been consistent in the past without this action being taken...

I don't even know where to start with this. I mean honestly, Riot, what the hell? It's one thing to ban people who have played the game for over a year, for the exact same **** they have done for over a year with your blessing. It's another entirely to make a scapegoat of one of the people who popularized your damned game.

Could you be more full of bull?
