Greets Hohums and Co,

No doubt you're busy, so I'll try to make this concise and compiled. I know that you've indicated an error with BugSplat crashing games, but I've had the Black Screen issue prior to the mini-patch (had a tiny update this morning, BugSplat started appearing after that mini-patch), but only after the Talon patch. Already have done a full Repair via the Launcher.

Symptom: Black Screen for 1-3 seconds, with sound. Video Driver failure notification. Sometimes (65% of the time) the system can recover, otherwise the client crashes (not the OS, just LoL, have never experienced a full BSOD inducing video failure with this rig).
GFX Card: GTX580
Steps taken to troubleshoot: Verified card temps are within normal operating range during game, clean reinstall of fully up-to-date Drivers, reduced graphics settings within the game client, ran a Repair using the game launcher.
Frequency: Almost every game (95% of games played since Talon patch), at least once. Last game was the first time it occurred twice within a single game.

This has only occurred post-Talon patch. This only occurs within LoL (I'm an avid gamer with a sizable selection of games).

Seems that there are errors abound within the logs themselves, attached the two logs created from my last game, along with the DXDiag. Again, to reiterate, only occurs within LoL, has not occurred in any other game and/or benchmark, and only after the Talon patch.

Hey there, I had the SAME problems since TALON patch.

I've possibly narrowed it down to LOL Recorder which was running (minimized) in the taskbar. I uninstalled it, and haven't had a crash since...

Try this, if you have LOL Recorder installed, just uninstall it.

Just as a follow-up, playing more games throughout the day with active temperature logging, will hopefully have a log up this evening, or after the next crash.

Temps have been consistently well within operating range, have GPU-Z sensor data to back it up if necessary.

Crashed again. Definitely not temperature related. Latest drivers w/ clean driver installation.

Edit: updated with logs

First timestamp log is the initial load of the game + crash, second is the reconnect of the game + successful ending.

Image is verification of GPU max temp at the time of the crash as proof that it's not overheating.

Same thing happening to me, had older nvidia drivers and i got the crash to desktop/bugsplat. Updated my drivers to latest and now my LoL client just black screens and freezes for 3 seconds then comes back. Both are accompanied by the "driver has stopped working" alert. This has been happening since the Talon patch.

Mind adding your r3d log files and DXdiag to your post so we can start getting extra data?
