Worrying about problems before you can even see if they are problems..

I believe that towers will automatically defend the point against all attackers. However, they are easily disabled by enemy champions if undefended.

Looked at this in the IGN video and he appears to be right. The channeling range seems to be longer than the turret range, or right on the edge which will allow an undefended turret to be taken without it firing a shot.

This may have been what reviewers were alluding to. It would make it seem like turrets don't fire if champs aren't on them if every time you try to cap an undefended point it never fires at you.

Edit: Specifically look at 1:05 and 1:35 for examples of it not firing and firing w/o a defender respectively. Notice that when it doesn't fire ~1:05 Morde does not appear to be standing in the circle when he starts to channel.

Captured towers will always attack enemies UNLESS its actively being captured by an enemy champion.

If twitch is invisible then just try and capture the point, he'll have to attack you to break the capture.
And remember the minions capture too, so you can just farm the minions until yours start capturing it.

Capture progress is kept, so no matter how slowly you capture he'll have to reveal himself and channel to capture it back.
I'd imagine you can tell if a turret is active by looking at it anyway, so you'd know if twitch was there.

Biggest problem I can foresee is if you're a yi or something running around capping points behind enemy lines and the twitch is waiting for you, guess you'll have to go for another point or buy items to counter him.
Even then an alistar standing on the point would be a bigger problem.

Remember that having your channel broken also causes your team to lose points. Even if he just attacks once and runs off to stealth again, it's still probably a net win for him.

@issfire/Tobster: Thanks for the response.

Turrets will attack enemy champions allways except if these enemy champions are channeling to capture it back. So if twitch is nearby but doing nothing you will be able to channel the capture until he decides to attack!
