It should be exactly there, relative to your installation path. So, for example:

C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\solutions\lol_game_client_sln\release s\0.0.0.63\deploy

That would be the full path, if you installed to the default directory.

When I open up the "deploy" folder, I only see the "DATA" folder, nothing else. Am I doing this right? O.o

You only see the DATA folder? Not the LEVELS folder or "League of Legends.exe" or a bunch of DLLs?

Yeah, the only thing that's in the deploy folder is the DATA folder. If you want, I can take a quick SS of what I see on my screen and put it up here so you can see it.

Don't know if this helps, but I have had a similar problem today after champion select. When it would go to load the match after champ select it would lock up and eventually give me an error message. I finally fixed it by reinstalling, but here is one of the logs with the error, in case it helps with your problem. All of my error logs are the same from today.

Try this out:

Open up the launcher and click the menu button (cog icon). Run the repair feature. Try to get into a custom game again.

Did that many times unfortunately. All attempts failed upon launching a custom game, selecting a champ, and watching LoL shut down by itself while trying to get into the match.

I can give it another shot, but its very likely the same thing is going to happen again.
