Same here. It's probably safe to continue anyway, though.

It looks like the DigiCert certificate chain is not trusted. However, I'm not getting this error. What version of Mac OSX are you guys using?

I have the same error in the shop on OSX 10.6.8.

I also notice that the "UserKernel" Application that opens as one of the 3 league related programs (UserKernel, LolLauncher, LolClient) is never responding, from the moment I first start to when I close and even during games.

I had this happen once on the PBE, and it went away within a few days. *shrug*.

I dug up the screenshots from when it happened.

The issue seems to crop up from time to time on both platforms, so I don't think its worth worrying about here. The only thing you can really do is if you persistently get the certificate error is your system time/date, and if that's fine, just go ahead and approve the certificate manually.

Ran into this issue tonight. Was able to locate the intermediate certificates that are required for the certificate to be trusted. You can find them here: https://www.digicert.com/digicert-root-certificates.htm

Look for these two:
- DigiCert Secure Server CA
- DigiCert High Assurance CA-3

Download and install them. They come pre-installed on all modern browsers and mobile devices, but it's possible that they can get deleted. Once we installed them - boom, up and running again. Hope this helps someone out there!
