not gonna put any detail just offering an idea that would be a little idea with a big impact

but have you ever thought of champion specific runes.

ie runes that modify or affect that champions passive or skills or effects. ie a rune that makes ashes hawk-shot give 1 additional gold, buffs caitlyns AA range by 5%, increases skarners cdr per AA by .1, gives mundo Q 1% more or makes morde or vlads or mundo skills cost 10% less hp

things lie that and with tweaking hey could still have a minimal effect on the game but still have let players show their skill.

Would take forever to make all the runes for every champion. And you would have to buy runes for each champion you want to play, and if your like me and play a different champion pretty much every game, you would be screwed. Unless the runes were like really REALLY cheap, but then it would be overwhelming with all the options. Would get cluttered.

yah i get that and if they did that they have to lower the ip cost of rune pages to compensate and every new champ would have their runes making the time between champs longer

oh well it was s fun idea while it lasted

Runes are to diversify stats and gameplay... so that everyone isn't playing the same champion the exact same way..

Making runes for each champion just means taking away runes all together and making every champion the same, all the time.
