LoL has an obsession with flanking people
Blindsiding and flanking is a huge part of the game and can set up some pretty devastating single target combos.
The whole map is designed this way, with all the sneaky spots, this is why warding in pro-tournaments and even average games takes such a hugely important role.
And Riot wonders why they have balance issues with stealth characters?
Only 2 of the 9 stealth characters in the game have a skillshot, the rest are on-target abilities and 1 has an on target with terrain interaction (Vayne).
Everyone who can position quickly and more effectively for a skillshot... doesn't have one and just pretty much has to throw something on a target or mash keys.
Everyone who has a strong combo, has all sorts of weakness targeting specific champion in teamfights past the meatshielding etc.
Why would you make a super strong positioner... with just a point and click ability that takes almost no skill and pretty much can't miss its target? Isn't this sorta why stealth classes cause problems?
Tons of damage, no way to effectively implement it on skillcap champs.
Tons of damage on right click, easy way to use it with mild timing skills.
There's your imbalance, prove me wrong.
Oh yeah and can someone from Riot check this, i can still double jump with Rengar.
You talk like positioning is pointless unless you're trying to aim skillshots. Which is hardly the case.
Emphasising how important it is, not that it is or isn't important on some characters, everyone benefits from being in the right place at the right time.
And stealth are the best positioners yet gain very little from it, with no real skillshot combos, but my point here is their damage output can be greater on single targets with or without their stealth than someone who lands a full combo from reeds on a champion.
Not always, just seems soooooooo much easier to right click someone to death with sion than kill someone with Brand, and Talon just feels like a noob bash champ for noobs.
