LoLMatches - A JabeBot Replacement!

EDIT: 21/6/12 As of the Pulsefire Ezreal patch, Riot had once more hidden Elos. Lolmatches will no longer update your Elo after you play any more games. Your displayed Elo should be your last Elo retrieved from before the patch.

Hello everyone, we’ve all been missing JabeBot, especially the “ladder” it gave us, as a form of Ranked. Furthermore, many of us want to know our own Normal Elo, to track progress, and just to feel good about ourselves.

There is currently a program that can help us achieve these goals, and unlike lolnotes, you just need to run it in the background. Now, it won’t let you check other people’s Elos during queue, but maybe that’s an upside.

Head over to http://lolmatches.com/ and install the program. You need to have .NET Framework 4.0 installed, and you need to run LoLmatches before you run League of Legends. Apart from that, you don’t need to do anything.

The program will upload your match data after each game, enabling you to keep track of k/d/a, win rate, etc. for Normal SR/Dominion games, replicating the Ranked statistics page, and also enabling you to keep track of your match history. Furthermore, you can see your Elo chart over time for each game mode.
The Elo it provides is the same as lolnotes’, meaning it’s the Elo you have when you begin the game, not the Elo after the game ends.

LoLmatches provides data for people you’re in game with – You can’t find the Elo of any random person, but the data, and the most recent Elo will be uploaded for the ten players who queued for the match. This means that in order to have more details, of more people, and for those details to be more up to date, we need more people to install lolmatches. After all, we only have the details of people who play in games with those who have the client installed – more clients installed means more games and more people whose statistics will be uploaded.

Currently there’s a top 100 page which shows the top 100 Normal Elo positions for SR/Dominion, from those the game knows. I’m trying to get the creator to release a weekly .txt file of the sort JabeBot released, to give us a better ladder. In the meanwhile, over in your profile, you can see your current Rank.

The creator can be contacted here:
http://www.facebook.com/lolmatches?ref=ts
http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/....php?t=1417283

Some notes: You run the program before running LoL. After the game you go to the http://lolmatches.com/ website, search for your name, and you can see the Elo you had before your latest game.
To see SR Normal Elo you need to play a normal SR game, and for Dominion, a Dominion game. No bot games.

P.S. As results of making requests, Dominion Elo went live 2 days ago, top 100 today, "last update" on top 100 later today. All as results of requests. So the creator is very engaged, and it's worth making requests, they can happen! :)

Suggestion for you to pass on to the creator: on the matches page where it shows the people in your game, make it display elo with all the other stuff like champion, level, K/D, and whatnot.

I don't want to have to open 10 windows just to see the elo of everyone I played with in a match.

Here's another thing:
Have at the bottom average win-rate, k/d/a, etc. Just like Ranked has the total statistics, so I could see my aggregate statistics for the game mode with regards to the games lolmatches has data of.

I'm assuming the website only updates from people who have it running and the people they run into in their matches? Because that elo variation looks pretty ridiculous for the first 100...

That's right :)

Started using it, top 100 for NA should look more accurate after a few days of me spamming games to collect data. I can confirm this program is ridiculously easy to set up and use; just install, run it in the background, play a game and watch as it works its magic.

Maybe he should change his user-name to Vegetta.

BTW, if anyone has a EU-N account, I'd appreciate if you posted it on their forum, though probably easier to ask people on the EU-W area :)

Excellent program. Although eta until our Elo is stripped again? I'm betting Tuesday, heh.
