Underrated champs.

People differ on who they hate to see in Dominion, but I see a lot of people complaining about the same champs over and over. Everyone has had a game where they thought it was going to be cake, and a really good player wiped the floor with them using an unexpected champ. For example, I saw an AP Twisted Fate go 33/4/19 last night lol. What are some of the ones you've come across that really gave you an honest surprise?

A graves in my team was making fun of a mordekaiser before the game started, both went bot and morde wiped the floor with him.
Graves proceeded to complain about everyone the entire game after abandoning bot w/o even saying he would.

morde is back now , veigar and nasus can do well they are not just a farm bomb

About 80% of the roster is underrated. Too many people playing "strong" champs that they aren't good with. Really annoying.

GrignardTS 01-06-2012 12:45 PM

Pretty much everyone is viable.

Just some champions are strong at many different roles

Nunkuruji 01-06-2012 12:47 PM

Maybe Trundle. That pillar seems like it can be used fairly nastily in the more narrow and jungly Dominion terrain.

There are no underrated champions.

Each champion can be used and be viable in one way or another. Some champions, however, are more situational and may require the team built around them.

Ascleph 01-06-2012 01:49 PM

underrated != not viable.

its a question of "Can someone do the same thing but better"

Morde is a great example of a strong champion when he can make use of spellvamp and minions. However give him a 2v1 (in the form of a gank), and he has nothing beyond a bit of sustain to try to keep him in the fight. He will go down hard, and its very easy to make a morde lose his lane like this.

Its all about how the champion is played, and how the team works around them. Everyone has seen the games of a Mundo winning, but it doesn't mean Mundo is a good champion

I think Anivia is underrated. Her wall and ult can block off entire lanes fairly easily. It's just in draft you see alot of people pick champs that are strong and easy to play such as: Ryze, Warwick, Skarner, Urgot, Poppy etc..
