February 16 - Maokai: 6300
March 1 - Jarvan IV: 4800
March 16 - Nocturne: 6300
April 1 - Lee Sin: 6300
April 12 - Brand: 6300
April 26 - Rumble: 4800
May 10 - Vayne: 6300
June 1 - Orianna: 4800
June 22 - Yorick: 6300
July 13 - Leona: 6300
July 26 - Wukong: 6300
August 9 - Skarner: 6300
August 24 - Talon: 6300
September 14 - Riven: 6300
October 5 - Xerath: 6300
October 19 - Graves: 6300
November 1 - Shyvana: 6300
November 15 - Fizz: 6300
November 29 - Volibear: 6300
December 14 - Ahri: 6300 (this marks the 12th 6300 in a row)

Why does this not surprise me?

EDIT: After 100+ pages and 2000+ upvotes, is it too much to ask Moneypenny or someone at Riot's financing office to give us a response concerning their new pricing scheme? After all, according to Tryndamere, transparency with your community is your policy.

Actually it's the opposite - we far prefer to be "among the people" and interact directly than to think resorting to cleverly written notes that have to be approved by a bunch of executives who don't understand their audience counts as community management.

I'm glad people are noticing the differences:

1. We are transparent - we admit when we make mistakes
2. We are active - because we care what you guys think
3. We are part of the community - not just people we hire to "manage" the community

I'm not the only one who wants a response from you, Riot:

Bump.

I would like to see a red post on this and also explaining why there have been no 3150's in a while. At the very LEAST it is time to drop the price of some older champs.

bump for truth, would like to see a red

This post reflects my own opinion and shares some insight into where Riot is going with RP.

This is really getting frustrating.
I understand Riot needs to make money, however, this doesn't feel right. It really feels like Riot is trying to have people spend money on champions now instead of having RP be used for vanity, forgoing IP save for that once a month purchase or buying an older champ.

I have personally given up on even trying to buy all the champions, it isn't worth the time or money.

And finally, a humorous contribution:

then of course we get monkey king, and the bloodmoon skins

kFrog 07-26-2011 03:41 PM

By this pattern the next champion will be 4800 ...

SwiftExecution 07-26-2011 03:42 PM

4800 is the new 3150

Jusanden 07-26-2011 03:42 PM

i feel like your post is kinda racist, or at least can be interpreted that way

Most Chinese companies are big companies that make a lot of money.

Having 6k champions are an easy way to make more money.

AFloppyGiraffe 07-26-2011 03:44 PM

Because being bought out by a Chinese company has complete relevance to how Riot prices their champions.

The Urban1 07-26-2011 03:44 PM

holy ****, this is interesting indeed.
I hope this thread doesn't die
