Spell cast responsiveness
 
Hello, my first post about beta regarding an immediate impression. When you cast a spell you get the graphics displaying the spell range. If you're already in motion, the graphic will move with your character, but if you then click a cast target within the radius after you've moved (but outside the original radius when you pushed the spell key), you seem not to cast the spell at all. This makes it feel kind of unresponsive.

Also personally I'd prefer to see characters move into cast range if a target is chosen outside of the cast range. Was having a brutal time using spells/abilities largely because of this one issue.

To be honest I haven't had trouble using spells and etc. in game. No problems with the skill range and targeting either.

Oh wait, could this have something to do with me probably obsessively holding alt as an old habit from Dota?

Yes.. holding alt will cause this behavior, dont hold alt and it will work how you suggested =)
