Introduction: While other young yordles would play skip-step and make wreaths out of braided posies, Poppy was earning calluses and grease stains in her father's armor shop. Blomgrun was a well-respected armorsmith, and he named his daughter for the sprightly sounds that accompanied the sparks leaping from his ever-burning forge. He was filled with pride when she was first able to lift his trusty hammer, Whomper. One day, Blomgrun was comissioned to create a glorious helm for a Demacian general. Word of the charge was leaked to the Noxian High Command, and two of their best spies ambushed Blomgrun's caravan en route. Though Poppy escaped with the helm, she helplessly watched as her father was slain. Instead of fleeing home, she carried the helm to Demacia alone. When the Demacian general saw the grim determination behind the tears in her eyes, the general requested that the leadership of Bandle City appoint Poppy as the yordle ambassador to Demacia. Soon after, seeking to crush Noxus with her father's hammer, Poppy volunteered for the League of Legends.
Valiant Fighter - Any damage dealt to Poppy that exceeds 10% of her current health is reduced by 50%. This does not reduce damage from structures.
Devastating Blow - Poppy crushes her opponent, dealing attack damage plus a flat amount and 8% of her target's max health as bonus damage. The bonus damage cannot exceed a threshold based on rank. Poppy crushes her opponent, dealing attack damage (+0.6) plus 20/60/100/140/180 and 8% of her target's maximum health in bonus damage. The bonus damage dealt cannot exceed 75/150/225/300/375.

Paragon of Demacia - Passive: Upon being hit or attacking an enemy, Poppy's armor and damage are increased for 5 seconds. This effect can stack 10 times. Active: Poppy gains max stacks of Paragon of Demacia and her movement speed is increased for 5 seconds. Passive: Upon being hit or attacking an enemy, Poppy's armor and damage are increased by 1.5/2/2.5/3/3.5 for 5 seconds. This effect can stack 10 times.
Active: Poppy gains max stacks of Paragon of Demacia and her movement speed is increased by 17/19/21/23/25% for 5 seconds.

Heroic Charge - Poppy charges at an enemy and carries them further. The initial impact deals a small amount of damage, and if they collide with terrain, her target will take a high amount of damage and be stunned. Poppy charges at an enemy and carries them for a short distance. The initial impact deals 50/75/100/125/150 (+0.4) magic damage. If they collide with terrain, her target takes 75/125/175/225/275 (+0.4) magic damage and will be stunned for 1.5/1.5/1.5/1.5/1.5 seconds.

Diplomatic Immunity - Poppy focuses intently on a single target, dealing increased damage to them. Poppy is immune to any damage and abilities from enemies other than her target. For 6/6/6 seconds, Poppy is immune to any damage and abilities from enemies other than her target.
In addition, Poppy's attacks deal 20/30/40% increased damage to the marked target.

Gameplay: First start off by buying a Ruby Crystal and Devastating Blow as your first skill. Be agressive but not careless, meaning harass whenever you can but do not be greedy and die. Early games are always important for it can change the outcome of the whole game. Second skill is Heroic Charge use this when u get a great position to stun
or to push back an Enemy Hero into a turret or an Allied Hero, then follow off with Devastating Blow. Third skill is Paragon of Demacia but this is the only point u will put into it since u will only be using it as a combo to boost your burst damage using Devastating Blow and Heroic Charge. So basically Max out Devastating Blow after that, Heroic Charge, then Diplomatic Immunity and finally, Paragon of Demacia. By the way when you get enough money go back in town or base to purchase your next items, which will be Phage and Boots+1. By this time you have just taken a step closer into immortality. People will begin to notice you and become very cautious of your burst damages. Keep playing as i said above, farm gold and when you have enough get back
in town to purchase your next sets of items, and they are Giant's Belt and the finished version of your Boots. By this time you will have plenty of health to use and have fun with. Co-ordinate with your teammates and set up a gank. 25% slow chance on your Phage should prove preety useful. Also try to get Golem Buffs anytime you can for this is very very helpful. You will be able to sustain longer Group hunt / Group Fights / Group Pushes. When you obtain enough money tele back to town and finish your Frozen Mallet and start building your Starks Fervor by purchasing a Vampiric Scepter i mean what good is a paladin without an aura anyways lol, or if you feel like you aren't having enough fire power; start saving up for a Sheen instead by purchasing a Sapphire Crystal. You should be reaching Middle Late section of the match and this is the time where you are about to dominate and become a figure that almost every heroes out there will look out for. By having a Frozen Mallet you will have nearly about 99% success on your ganks, plus 700HP will help you alot for you are going to be very hard to kill specially from the help of your Passive Skill which reduces any damage that hits you for more than 10% of your HP into 50%. Late game; you will have Stark's Fervor and Sheen finished at this time and you and your teammates are about almost done annihilating your enemies if everything goes according to plan. So by the time you reached your 5 items you should be near godly, and with your pressence in Group Fights it will be preety easy if you know how to play right. If the game lasts longer ... depending on the situation your 6th item will come to play. Viel / Guardian / Frozen Heart and also finish your Sheen and turn it into a Trinity Force, and now my friend you are GODLY. so HF and GG !!

I have around 60 games logged in as Poppy at this point (with a decent win/loss ration) and have to say that I think you have made a small mistake in your build. I tend to rush sheen, followed by boots (based on enemy team) followed by phage. I agree that Phage is nuts on Poppy and really takes her to the next level... but not in the way that sheen does. In the early game (where you will be getting your phage or sheen) a Charge > Sheen pumped Devastating Blow is usually enough to send anyone back to their homes (either with a death or to heal). I have not had the same luck with phage. This is why I tend to get exhaust over heal.. it is your early game phage and your late game middle finger to Twitch, Yi, Trist.. well you know all those physical types.
Also Doran's Shield and HP pot to start tends to work wonders for me, even though it doesn't build into anything.
