Game client does not open after Play button is clicked
Title says it all, once I press the "Play" button, the launcher closes and nothing else happens, I see LoL's processes running on the Task Manager, but no game window is shown.
Tried repairing twice.
Also tried the solution on this thread, as in deleting the lol_launcher folder to reset it: (http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/....php?t=2660520)
Also tried to delete specific files in the lol_air_client folder, no result either.

I run on Windows XP, if that changes anything.

Oh yeah also, if I run the game with windows 95 compatibility mode, the game client does open, but when I try to log in it takes a long time, then it crashes.

I would not try and run in Win 95 compatibility, wrong OS.

You can try running through the won't start fixes here, http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/....php?t=1538750

I tried running on compatibility mode because once the patcher was stuck in the process of patching and the working solution was to run in compatibility mode to let it patch, and it worked well, so I thought it would be worth a try, will try those steps.

Repaired a lot of times, tried deleting RADS downloads/solutions folders, tried deleting lol_air_client/lol_air_client_config_na/launcher folders.

Nothing works, any idea why the client/patcher would just blow up randomly, after no patch whatsoever?

Ok so after trying countless amount of fixes, nothing works. I've tried out of nowhere (even if Aregionius hates it) to run the game in compatibility mode for win95 (I run on XP) and the game client window actually opened up, but when I try to log in the game either crashes or I get a PVP.net connection error.

I don't hate it :P I just don't see it doing anything. Win 95 was a DOS based OS so the way the compatibility mode is built is for a system completely different than the one League of Legends works with.

You may also want to try restting your IE settings, http://support.leagueoflegends.com/e...roubleshooting or (if you haven't done so already) running a reinstall following this guide, http://support.leagueoflegends.com/e...gue-of-legends

If it's still starting your process but not opening after that, most likely there's some other program like an anti-virus software that's keeping it from popping up.
