I've explored for a while and from what I've seen other players post is that when you report someone it starts building a case slowly, and if a certain number of your games are reported, your case is sent to the tribunal. If your reports are just spam reports, they will carry less weight in the tribunal and if more of your cases result in punish it will carry more weight?

See that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Why should someone who randomly decides to press report for no reason on someone, and say a case does get build on that person and is punished, nothing happens to said person? Everyone is quick t quote light that it shouldn't matter what the person reported for if you see toxic things and whatnot. I don't see how false reporting should ever be taken seriously. Maybe the person did do toxic things in other games and should be punished, but someone who false reports likes that shouldn't get away with zero punishment.

Many of those players that spam report have had their reporting power reduced to 0 so even if they report, the player they are reporting it wont' show up inthe tribunal until that player gets people who have power to report reporting them...did that make any sense? Was kind of a run on sentence.

look you would have to be false reported in about 15% to 20% of your games to make it to the tribunal, Then believe it or not we read all the chat logs, then look over your gear and so on. If there is no proof of wrong doing you have nothing to worry about.

Another thing is that the more a player is pardoned, all the people who have reported that player, it affects their ability to report someone as it is seen by the system as false reporting. At least that is how I understand it from what Lyte and Wookiecookie have said about the matter as I remember a few months back it was a huge deal about false reports and people were freaking out.
