NO,NO,NO,its also from the champion! It is!

And RIOT could say that it's a special case that don't procs, but can't say that spiderling's damage not dealing by Elise.

You can't say that just because the spiderlings get a health bar!

Or Volatile Spiderling shouldn't procs Rylai's slow.

I know that spiderling's aa not Elise's aa.The point is Cleaver's passive isn't an on-hit effect anymore, all physical damage dealt by the owner should procs it,it might has some exception, but just don't tell me spiderling's damage not dealt by Elise.

So someone who wants the Black Cleaver to be even more OP than before?

Elise's spiderlings do not proc ANY on-hit effects. This includes the on-hit magic damage of items like Malady and Wit's End, as well as all other effects like Phage/Frozen Mallet, Stattik Shiv, or even lifesteal.

So if none of the above apply to spiderlings, why should the most-broken on-hit item apply?

They are also single target attacks.

If they allow her spiderlings to proc items for her, then she's be OP with a Muramana.

It is both an on-hit effect AND a spell effect.

Weirding ways 12-11-2012 09:42 AM

They already do. All pets that do physical damage like voidlings or spiderlings proc it.

Dark Kuno 12-11-2012 09:44 AM

It doesn't proc BC (and other stacking on-hit/spell affects) for balance reasons I imagine.

Unlike other minion controlling champs, Elise gets multiple minions. If they all could proc black cleaver it would max stack the Armor shred instantly at level 6 (3 spiders+Elise herself)

Dear lord Blade of the Ruined King would simply melt any target regardless of their mitigation level and health in seconds with Skittering Frenzy activated if it were allowed to proc from the spiders.

sometimes a specific champ has to be set to not interact the way every other champ does with an item because of mechanical balance.
