Click "Play" on Launcher and Nothing Happens

HELP!

Alright so when I click on the LoL icon on my desktop, it comes up with the patcher as normal.

However, once I press play, the patcher exits and nothing happens.

I can see the "LoLlauncher.exe*32" on my task manager.

I am running windows 7 with 6gb RAM and a 64 bit operating system.

Hello Mudkipz!

Thank you for bringing this issue to the Help and Support Forum! Pressing the giant glowing orange button of "PLAY", and then nothing happens can be excruciatingly frustrating, since you are left with doing the exact opposite of what you clicked.

Typically, this problem is most often caused by a failed self-patch of the patcher. Although we are working to resolve this issue there are a few known workarounds:

The first and most common solution is to force the patcher to repatch itself. You can do this by deleting this folder:
C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_launcher
If you chose a custom install path, the folder may be in a different location.

Many players also fixed this problem by disabling the UAC(Windows Vista and Win7 Only)
Here is a short guide to disabling the UAC: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windo...windows-vista/
- Be sure to use the "Never notify me when:" setting

If you have completed these steps, and you are still not seeing the Log-in Screen, don't panic just yet! Make sure to send us a new Support Ticket* so we may work with you one-on-one until arriving at a Full Resolution!

* Keep in mind that this advice was given based upon the information provided. If you would appreciate a further one-on-one interaction to solve this issue, make sure to send us a Support Ticket! You can send one from here: https://support.leagueoflegends.com/tickets/new Also, if you could please provide a link to this forum thread in the new ticket, it would be incredibly helpful! :)

I did both methods and still It does not work I also Uninstalled and Re-installed the game serveral times and it still does not work. I will be really sad if I will not be able to play this awesome game anymore. I spent so much time on this game and I don't what I will do during my free time and I'll miss the friends i made on this awesome game.

Tried it all, still no game, even did a fresh install. Help please?

I have had the same problem with my laptop running windows 7 64 bit 6 gbs of ram. I tried the workarounds and they did not work. However, I took it to the next step in my option. After a clean install and the game still didn't work. I deleted the folder lol_launcher and opened a command prompt. You can do this by hitting start and typing cmd. When the prompt opens type sfc /scannow. This may require administrator access. To do this close currently open prompt and click start again type cmd and right click and run as administrator. This process does take about 5 to 10 mins after it is complete trying running league again and it should load just fine. I hope this helps :D

I had the same problem, the only thing that worked was a full re-install of all the LoL stuff, Adobe Air, etc. then a full install. Since then it has worked fine, minus the Dominion crashes, but at least I can play SR.
