Champion advice

I presently have 7k IP and I am wondering who I should purchase using it. I mainly jungle and I use Maokai for that, and I off-role top as Yorick and Jax. I have gotten into playing a bit of support as Nunu, and that's funny to lane kill bot lane as Nunu with a good adc, lol.

I am thinking of possibly getting Skarner as one of the champions (because I am refunding a 6300 champion) because I have heard and seen him be ridiculous as a jungler, but I am not sure. I played him a bit last time he was free to play and he was fairly fun.

Other things to note:
- I LOVE playing as Maokai jungle, he is awesome! =)
- I have tried playing Lee Sin, and he just doesn't seem to fit my play-style, I just don't click with him.
- I prefer to play the tank(y) champions, and not so much the squishy ones.

So there you have it. If I might get some help/advice in regards to my question(s), that would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I also love jungle Maokai as well, and he's been helping me get out of elo hell in the past week once I started building him properly. If you're looking for a new champion I think Nautilus would be a good choice because he is also a very good tanky jungler. His Q may be very different than what you're used to (especially if you've tried out Lee Sin) but a good Q is essentially a Maokai W once you let your passive snare your enemy with an auto-attack. He's a good choice to pick if you're looking for something slightly different.

I think he will also help you to diversify your lineup a lot and help you get good with other champions as well. A Nautilus anchor throw isn't so far off from a Blitzcrank grab, so after you get the hang of one, you can start doing the other and succeed at it. If I had to pick the one thing that makes me smile every time I do it, it's landing a good blitz grab. I think Nautilus would be a good champion for you to help you get the hang of different skill sets while fulfilling a simple function. Good luck!

Skarner, Shyvana, Nautilus. :)

Skarner is different from Maokai in how you play him, but he fills the same role. He runs about the same build, he doesn't need a lot of items to be effective, he clears pretty well. He's not an aggressive jungler the way Shyvana/Mundo/Lee Sin are, he really just is useful kind of the way Maokai is.

I do love Skarner, and I suspect you will as well if you like Maokai. HOWEVER, if you want the most bang for your buck I would actually suggest Alistar instead. He provides a great second choice for top or jungle, and unlike Skarner he is also a very good support.
